We are almost at the stage of the playoff where the Conference Finals begin, which makes predicting the Finals a good deal easier. That said, you still have a pair of series that are hanging in the balance in both conferences, so this prediction could go very wrong if I’m not careful. As Wayne Gretzky once said, “You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take,” so let’s take a look at both conferences as they stand right now, and let’s see if I can’t gaze into my crystal ball to see how it all might play out over the next couple of weeks. Remember, you can bet on all the remaining NBA playoff games right here at our MyBookie.ag pro hoops online odds page.

Predicting the Eastern Conference
The Cavaliers have already punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Final, and they have done so in some considerable style. Cleveland swept the Detroit Pistons and the Atlanta Hawks in the opening 2 rounds, and now get to sit back and relax while the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat battle it out to face them in the final. It is the Raptors who have the 3-2 series edge heading into Game 6, and you get the sense that they are set to move on, especially since they still get to go back to home court if a Game 7 is required. The reality here is that it is probably the end of the line for either of those two teams once they run into the Cavaliers. Cleveland looks like a team on a mission, as they want to go one better than they did last season when injuries derailed their championship bid.Predicting the Western Conference
The Golden State Warriors took another step closer to repeating as champion with a 4-1 series win over the Portland Trail Blazers. While it was a relatively comfortable win in terms of the number of games played, the Warriors were made to work pretty hard for the victory. The good news is that Stephen Curry looks to be fully fit and ready to go after recovering from a knee injury, and Golden State are going to need him, regardless of who they face in the Western Conference Final. That will be either the San Antonio Spurs or the Oklahoma City Thunder, with the advantage going to OKC who have a 3-2 series lead right now. The Thunder can close things out on Thursday night, but I have a feeling that this might yet go the full 7, and that the Spurs will somehow pull it out. I also think we are looking at a 7-game series for the Conference Final, with the Warriors prevailing.Predicting the NBA Finals
So, assuming I have it right, we will be seeing a repeat of last year’s final between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. It was the Warriors who won that one in 6 against a banged-up Cavaliers. Given that the Cavs are at full strength this time around, I think we are looking at a 7-game classic, with the Warriors repeating as champs.NBA Betting Center
