Tennessee Titans Analysis

The Titans have a single victory in their last 5 games. The issues are on both sides of the ball. For example, although the offense scored 28 against the Indianapolis Colts, the defense allowed 31 in an overtime loss.

The defense allowed 34 versus the Jaguars and the offense didn’t come close to keeping pace when scoring just 14. So the issue is that if the offense plays well, the defense doesn’t and if the defense plays well, the offense struggles.

On Monday night, the Titans face the best offense in the NFL. There’s no way Tennessee’s defense will stop Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill. So if the Titans’ offense struggles, Tennessee could lose via blowout.

Miami Dolphins Analysis

The Miami Dolphins boast one of the league’s most impressive offenses. Tua has thrown for 3,457 yards and 24 touchdowns. The 10 interceptions are somewhat high, but Tua takes chances, which is something Mike McDaniel wants him to do.

Tyreek Hill is on his way to the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award. Patrick Mahomes’s former favorite target is having a banner season. Hill has caught 93 passes for 1,481 yards and has caught 12 touchdowns. Considering this is a game in NFL Week 14, Hill’s stats are incredible.

The Titans’ defense allows 230.8 passing yards per game. So Tagovailoa and Hill should have excellent performances on Monday night.

Miami’s defense has stepped it up big time. The Fins’s defense has allowed 17 points or less in 6 straight and 17 points or less in 7of their last 8. Jalen Ramsey is the difference. Ramsey can shut down the entire half of a field. He’s got Deion-like skills.

With a healthy Ramsey, teams are finding it difficult to throw against the Dolphins, which means Miami’s D can concentrate on stopping the run.
