Last Season
As noted, these teams played in the Divisional Round a season ago and the Steelers won 18-16 in Kansas City despite not scoring a touchdown. Chris Boswell set an NFL record with six field goals. Spencer Ware’s 1-yard touchdown run took Kansas City within 18-16. The Chiefs at first converted the 2-pointer to tie it, but tackle Eric Fisher — the first overall selection in the 2013 draft — was penalized for holding. The next try failed. The Steelers became the first team to win a playoff game without a TD since eventual Super Bowl champion Indianapolis in the 2006 AFC divisional round at Baltimore. The Steelers also beat visiting Kansas City 43-14 in Week 4 of the regular season. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 300 yards and five touchdowns, two to Antonio Brown. Le’Veon Bell rushed for 144 yards.Why Bet On Pittsburgh?
The Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2) were the biggest betting favorites of Week 5 but were stunned 30-9 at home by Jacksonville. Roethlisberger threw a career-high five interceptions, two returned for touchdowns. Four of Roethlisberger’s five interceptions were on passes thrown 15 or more yards downfield. He led the NFL with 16 passing TDs on such throws last season, with only four picks. He has no TDs on such throws this year. Roethlisberger completed 10 passes to Brown vs. the Jags, but he also threw three interceptions when targeting him. He has twice as many picks to Brown this season as he did all of last year. Roethlisberger is the first Steeler since Mark Malone in 1987 to throw five picks in a game. He threw multiple pick-sixes for the first time in his career since 2006. Scott Tolzien of the Colts is the only other NFL quarterback to throw two pick-sixes this year. The last NFL quarterback to throw at least five picks and zero touchdowns was Ryan Fitzpatrick in Week 3 of 2016. Bell got 15 carries for 47 yards. Ten of his rushes went for 2 yards or less, including three for a loss, but he said he believes more plays were available: “I don’t think we got enough attempts,” Bell said early this week asked about the Week 5 production vs. the previous week at Baltimore, which featured Bell rushing 35 times for 144 yards. “I feel we’re a good enough team to wear guys out whether they know we’re running the ball or not,” said Bell, who has 371 rushing yards on 102 attempts and 144 receiving yards on 27 catches this season. Bell has 435 rushing yards (145 per game) in his past three games against the Chiefs, including a 170-yard performance in the Divisional Playoff contest. Brown, who leads the NFL this season with 40 catches and 545 receiving yards, aims for his fifth consecutive game (including the playoffs) against the Chiefs with at least 100 receiving yards or a touchdown catch.Team Statistics

Why Bet On Kansas City?
There are currently 20 teams with a .500 or better record. Leading the pack is the league’s only remaining unbeaten club, the 5-0 Kansas City Chiefs. Since 1990, when the current 12-team playoff format was adopted, 44 of the previous 50 teams (88 percent) to start 5-0 made the playoffs. The Chiefs won 42-34 at Houston last Sunday night. Kansas City has scored an NFL-high 164 points, including two games with at least 40 points. Chiefs QB Alex Smith, who leads the league with a 125.8 passer rating, threw three touchdown passes without an interception against the Texans. Smith, who has 11 touchdown passes and no interceptions, is the third QB in NFL history to have at least 11 touchdown passes without an interception in his team’s first five games of a season. Kansas City rookie running back Kareem Hunt, who leads the NFL in rushing (609 yards) and scrimmage yards (775), rushed for 107 yards and finished with 116 scrimmage yards versus Houston. Hunt joined Adrian Peterson (2007) as the only rookies in NFL history to record at least 100 scrimmage yards in each of his team’s first five games. Hunt’s 775 scrimmage yards are the third-most in NFL history by a rookie in his team’s first five games, trailing only Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson (787 in 1983) and Peterson (782 in 2007). The Chiefs are 0-6 against the Steelers in games Roethlisberger has both started and finished. Against Kansas City in the regular season, Roethlisberger has 13 touchdown passes and three interceptions. Roethlisberger’s regular-season passer rating against the Chiefs is 118.7. He’s done better against only two other opponents, the Falcons and the Rams, but he’s played against both of those teams only twice. K.C. likely will be without one of the NFL’s best tight ends in Travis Kelce. Kelce was concussed on Sunday night against the Texans and needs to go through the concussion protocol before gaining clearance. Demetrius Harris would pick up more snaps if Kelce sits against the Steelers, but Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt should shoulder more of the load.Team Statistics
