Kevin Harvick (+300)Harvick is in second place in the standings, just 5 points off the pace being set by the leader Kyle Busch. It may seem odd that Harvick is in as the favorite for this one given that Busch has won the last two Gander Outdoors 400 races, but if you take a look at what Harvick has done this season and it makes a little more sense. Harvick already has a win at Dover this season, with that one coming at the AAA Drive for Autism 400 back in May, a race that ked led for over 200 laps. He has one other win at Dover, with that one coming at this event back in 2015. Definitely worth a look here.
Kyle Busch (+400)He may not be a driver with the best personality in the world, but you cannot deny that he is at the very top of his game. Busch has had a staggering 23 top 10 finishes in his 29 races this season, winning 7 to get to the top of the driver standings. Dover Speedway has been very good to the top driver in NASCAR, as he has had 3 first-place finishes there, as well as 9 other occasions where he has finished in the top 5. A lot of money is going to be wagered on Busch this weekend, especially at odds that are more than a little favorable.
Martin Truex Jr. (+450)Truex Jr. is currently sitting in 3rd in the driver standings, just 17 points out of the top spot. He has amassed 4 wins this season and has been in the top 5 17 times out of 29 races. He certainly needs to be considered a good bet at this track, as he has landed in the top 5 in each of his last 4 visits here, which included a win back in 2016. To take that one step further, he has been in the top 10 at Dover Speedway in 8 of his last 9 races there. He may be considered the near man on this track, but I think he wins this weekend.
Kyle Larson (+750)It will be Larson who will be in the pole position for the Gander Outdoors 400, giving himself the ideal opportunity to get his first win at Dover. That is not to say that he hasn’t been good at this track, as he certainly has, landing in the top 10 in 7 of 9 races there. He was in the top 3 in 3 of those races and needs to be considered a good bet at a very good price. Not so sure he will win, but a top 5 finish looks like a good bet.
