Edmonton Eskimos vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Edmonton has gone undefeated in 2 games. The 39-23 victory over the B.C. Lions in their second game of the season was particularly impressive. Down 11-3 after the first quarter, Edmonton dominated the rest of the way. They outscored B.C. 36-12.

Winnipeg beat B.C. 33-23 in their first game of the season. The Blue Bombers last faced Edmonton on Nov. 3, losing 24-33. This feels like a lot of points to give up to a team that’s already 2-0 and appears much better this season than last season. Edmonton is the play.

CFL Betting Pick: Edmonton Eskimos

Montreal Alouettes vs Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Edmonton beat the Alouettes 32-25 in Montreal’s first game of the season. Montreal isn’t as bad in 2019 as they were in 2018. Does that mean they can hang with Hamilton on Friday?

After two weeks, Hamilton looks like the best overall team in CFL. They rank fourth in total yards per game and only allow 15.5 points per. That ranks first in the Canadian Football League. In their second game, they dominated Toronto 64-14. Hamilton should dominate Montreal as well.

Montreal is better this season than from last season. They’re not better enough to hang with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

CFL Betting Pick: Hamilton Tiger-Cats

B.C. Lions vs Calgary Stampeders

Defending Grey Cup Champion Calgary didn’t start 2019 off well. Rival Ottawa beat the Stampeders 32-28 in a Calgary home game. The Stampeders beat B.C. 23-9 the last time they faced them.

British Columbia gives up a lot of rushing yards and a lot of points on average. Opponents score 36 per. They rush for 142.5 per. However, this is way too many points for Calgary to give up on Saturday. B.C. can keep this within the spread.

CFL Betting Pick: B.C. Lions

Toronto Argonauts vs Sasjatchewan Rough Riders

Although Saskatchewan is 0-2 so far this season, they battled Hamilton and Ottawa. Right now, Hamilton is the best team in the Canadian Football League. Ottawa beat Calgary on the road in their first game of the season.

Saskatchewan’s 41-44 loss against Ottawa in Week 2 proves that they can hang with a quality squad. 14 is a lot of points, but it’s not a lot facing a team that allows 604 yards in their first game and 64 points in that first matchup.

CFL Betting Pick: Saskatchewan Rough Riders
