Best PGA Picks To Win the Honda Classic
1. Rory McIlroy – 11/2McIlroy is the betting favorite to win the 2016 Honda Classic this week at 11/2 odds despite the fact that he just shot an uninspiring closing round of 75 last Sunday to ruin any chance he had of potentially winning the Northern Trust Open. McIlroy was -10 under and just a few strokes off the lead going into the final round but shot a +4 over and finished tied for 20th place in his first PGA Tournament of 2016. McIlroy did however, win the Honda Classic in 2012
2. Rickie Fowler – 12 to 1Fowler has not played since he finished second to Hideki Matsuyama at the Phoenix Open of February 4. Fowler has already won the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship on January 24, 2016, for one win this calendar year to reach three PGA Tour wins in his career and two European Tour wins.
T-3. Hideki Matsuyama – 18 to 1Matsuyama won the Phoenix Open three weeks ago to record his second PGA Tour win by beating Fowler in a playoff. Matsuyama followed that victory up by finishing tied for 11th place at the Northern Trust Open last week.
T-3. Adam Scott – 18 to 1Adam Scott has some serious skills, but golf bettors should know that he has not won a tournament since May of 2014.
T-5. Phil Mickelson – 22 to 1Mickelson just missed getting into a playoff at Pebble Beach two weeks ago as he missed a short putt on the 18th hole that would have forced a playoff.
