Among the less than +2000 odds choices, who has the best chance of winning the 2019 Memorial Tournament?

Rory McIlroy shot a -11 at last year’s the Memorial Tournament. McIlroy was 6 strokes off Bryson DeChambeau, Beyong Hun An, and Kyle Stanley. Those three golfers finished at -15.

McIlroy most definitely has a shot, but Tiger Woods offers better odds and will want to make amends after the disaster at the PGA Championship. Tiger played badly because during the week a lawsuit against a restaurant he owns landed on his lap. No doubt, that was on his mind.

Tiger has won the Memorial Tournament 5 times. Muirfield Village is a great golf course for Woods to get his swing back. Tiger’s the favorite to back.

Who’s the best choice between +2000 and +2200 odds to win this weekend?

Rickie Fowler also shot a -11. Fowler missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge last week. The week before, he finished thirty-sixth at the PGA Championship. Although Fowler hasn’t been hitting the ball well, it’s hard to look past him here.

Rickie finished ninth at the Masters and fourth at the Wells Fargo Championship. He’ll have to turn his form around, but he knows Muirfield well. Fowler could get the job done at overlay +2000 odds.

Which golfer from +3300 to +5000 odds has the best chance of taking the 2019 Memorial Tournament trophy?

DeChambeau is an obvious pick. He won this tournament in 2018. The Memorial is one of the tournaments Bryson circled before the PGA Tour Season started. He’s expecting to play well.

He’s missed the cut in 3 straight: the RBC Heritage, the Masters Tournament, and the Charles Schwab Challenge. If we look past those 3 tournaments, his form could get him the trophy this weekend. It’s tough to side with DeChambeau this week, though. We just don’t know if he’s ready to turn his form around.

A much better choice could be Adam Scott. As many golf handicappers expected, Scott played great at the PGA Championship. He shot a +1 to finish eighth. Scott missed the cut at the Zurich Classic, but he shot a -7 at the 2018 the Memorial Tournament. Scott’s worth a look.

Can Henrik Stenson or a golfer not listed win the 2019 Memorial Tournament?

Jason Dufner offers +11000 odds to win the 2019 the Memorial Tournament. Dufner finished fortieth at the Charles Schwab Challenge. He missed the cut at the PGA Championship. However, at the Wells Fargo Championship, Dufner played great.

He finished fourth after shooting a -9. Dufner has a tendency to shoot well on Thursday and Friday and then bomb on Saturday and Sunday. If he can put together four great rounds of golf this week and weekend, he can win at massive odds. It helps that Dufner won the Memorial Tournament in 2017.
