Closer Look at the Free MLB Betting Pick on LA Dodgers at Colorado Rockies & TV InfoTime: June 2, 03:10 p.m. ET Venue: Coors Field, Denver, Colorado National TV: SNLA Spanish, SportsNet LA, KTNQ 1020, 570 LA Sports. Opening line: LA Dodgers -209 When you spend as much money as the Dodgers (29-20) do, there is an expectation that wins should come pretty easily. LA certainly started the season off well enough, but they have run into a bit of a wall in the past couple of weeks, and are just 5-5 in their last 10 games. They have seen their lead atop the division shrink to a half game as the Giants have closed the gap by hitting a great run of form. It was actually against those very Giants where the Dodgers woes began a couple of weeks back. LA was swept in a 3-game series where they failed to register a single run. Since then they have seen their offense go in fits and starts, sometimes looking as good as it should, whilst falling flat on its face at other times. At the time of writing, the Dodgers have yet to announce who they will be sending to the mound for the Tuesday game. A few weeks back, a series versus the Colorado Rockies (22-26) would be one that any team would look forward to. Times have changed, though, and this team is now on a bit of a roll. They still sit 6.5 games back of the top spot in the division, but that is a gap that they can close down a little further with a good showing against the LA Dodgers. The Rockies have won 6 of their last 7 games, and are coming off a sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies. They are starting to get some defense and solid pitching, which they will be looking to continue when they return home on Monday. Oddly enough, the Rockies have a much better record away from home this season, but they now have a 10-game home stand to try and rectify that. Jorge De La Rosa (1-2, 6.51 ERA) will get the start for the Rockies on Tuesday. He had a start against the Dodgers a couple of weeks ago, where he was dominant through 7.1 innings en route to a 7-1 win for the Rockies.
