An In Depth Look at the MLB Betting Preview on San Francisco at Milwaukee & Game InfoDate/Time: Wednesday, May 27, 1:40 PM Location: Miller Park, Milwaukee, Wisconsin TV/radio: CSN-BA, KNBR 680, FSWI, Brewers Radio Network, WYMJ 620 Betting Line: TBA The Giants (26-20) haven’t just been winning recently, they have been quite simply overpowering. They went 34 consecutive innings without giving up a run, which included a 3-game sweep of the Dodgers where they kept LA off the board. They did run into a bit of a wall in Colorado, losing 2 of 3 to the Rockies, but they bounced back nicely to win the opening game in Milwaukee. The San Francisco Giants have also been flashing some real power of late, and have been scoring runs at a rate that makes them a nightmare for opposing pitchers. Ryan Vogelsong (3-2, 4.60 ERA) will be on the hill for the Giants on Wednesday in search of his third straight win. It looked for a while as though the Milwaukee Brewers (16-30) may be on the road to righting the ship a little, but a 10-game road trip pretty much put an end to all of that. They went 4-6 on the road, and finished it up by losing 3 of 4 to the Atlanta Braves (In fact, their only win was a solid 11-0 victory on Friday, May 22nd that gave Brewers’ fans some hope). Their return home didn’t go as planned either, as the Giants took care of them pretty easily in their first game back. The Brewers have only won 8 games at home all season, so there is no reason to believe that their fortunes might in any way change during this homestand. At time of writing, Milwaukee had yet to make a decision on who would be the starter for the final game in this series.
