Philadelphia Phillies at Cincinnati Reds
Vince Velasquez battles Matt Harvey when the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Cincinnati Reds. Harvey, the former New York Mets’ pitcher, has had his ups and downs with the Reds. One up, is that Cincinnati is 4 and 2 on the money line the last 6 times Harvey has stepped to the mound. That’s a good reason to back Cincinnati and Matt Harvey on Saturday. But, it’s not a good enough, reason. The Phillies are a better team than the Reds while Velasquez has allowed 3 hits and zero earned runs in his last 8 innings pitched. Philadelphia rocks Cincinnati by at least 3 runs on Saturday. MLB NL Betting Pick: Philadelphia PhilliesMilwaukee Brewers at San Francisco Giants
San Francisco ace Johnny Cueto steps to the mound on Saturday to battle the strong hitting Milwaukee Brewers. Cueto has been one of the overall most consistent pitchers in MLB for a long time. His form hasn’t been great in July, though. It makes sense because the 3 games he’s started in July are his first 3 since April 28. It’s difficult to see Johnny keeping the Brewers’ offense at bay. Milwaukee is one of the better hitting teams in MLB. The Brew Crew starts Jhoulys Chacin, with his 3.58 ERA, as well. Chacin holds the Giants to a .239 batting average. Milwaukee’s the pick.
