Top MLB Parlays Of The Week (Sept. 20th – 23rd)
There are a lot of potentially huge games on the MLB schedule this week, as the race for playoff spots comes down to the wire. As we do every week, we will be looking ahead to see if we can out together some winning parlay plays over the next few days. We’ll take a look at the current form of all the teams, as well as trends and pitching match-ups to see if we can get some winners on the board. Be sure to check in regularly in order to get the latest live odds for all of these games, as well as all the others on the schedule.
Here’s a Closer Look At The Top MLB Parlays Of The Week (Sept. 20th – 23rd)
MLB Parlays for Tuesday Sept 20
The Washington Nationals are close to clinching the NL East, and would like to get that task out of the way early in the week. They start things off with a series against the Miami Marlins, and the Tuesday game features a great pitching match-up between Tanner Roark (15-8, 2.75 ERA) and Jose Fernandez (15-8, 2.99 ERA). Rather than trying to figure out a winner here, let’s instead take the UNDER.
The St. Louis Cardinals are desperately trying to stay alive in the Wild Card race, and with a series coming up against the Cubs later in the week, they will know that wins are vital in this opening series against the Rockies. I like them to get the win on Tuesday with Adam Wainwright on the mound.
MLB Parlays for Wednesday September 21
The Astros only have a very slim chance of making the playoffs, and the reality is that they are probably going to miss out. They will keep plugging to the end, though, and I like them to get the win over the Oakland A’s on Wednesday night with Collin McHugh on the mound.
The Mets are playing some great ball at the moment, and have a legitimate shot at being in the Wild Card game. They have been great at home, and you have to like their chances against a weak Braves side on Wednesday night. Look for Bartolo Colon to get his 15th win of the season.
MLB Parlays for Thursday September 22
The Giants have gone a little cold at the wrong time of the year, and have given Jeff Samardzija any run support lately, but I think that changes on Thursday. If the Giants can get to Christian Friedrich early, the rout could be on.
Justin Verlander has seen his last two starts, both of which were good wasted by some poor offense from the Tigers. I think that little run comes to an end on Thursday, as I like Detroit to keep their Wild Card hopes alive with a win against the Twins.
MLB Parlays for Friday September 23
Francisco Liriano has not had much luck since moving over to the Toronto Blue Jays from the Pirates, but it’s now desperation time in Toronto, and that is when good players step up. I think the Blue Jays do just enough to get past the Yankees on Friday.
Pitcher Drew Pomeranz broke out of a slump when he picked up a win in his last start for the Boston Red Sox, and I like him and his team to keep the good times rolling with a win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday night.
