We are all running out of time to make some extra money on the baseball season, as we are now heading into the final week of play before the postseason gets underway. As we do every week, we are going to scan through the schedule to see if we can put together some winning parlays. The temptation is there to add more games to each of the daily tickets, but I am going to stick with two games for each of the days I play. It’s a method that has worked quite nicely throughout the season, so I see no real need to change it now. Be sure to check back in regularly to keep up to date with all the latest betting odds for these games, as well as the others on the calendar.
Here’s A Closer Look At The Top MLB Parlay Picks Of The Week
MLB Parlay for Tuesday September 27
This season has been a total bust for an Arizona Diamondbacks team that spent a lot of money in the offseason in hopes of competing. They will head into their Tuesday meeting by sending reliever Zack Godley into the starter role to face Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals. It’s a mismatch of epic proportions, and one that should see the Nats come away with a comfortable win.
It’s been a season to forget for Philadelphia and Atlanta, but it has to be said that the Braves are playing some better ball of late. They will send Julio Teheran to the mound to face the Phillies on Tuesday, and he pitched a gem when they met earlier this month. Going with the Braves to win.
MLB Parlay for Wednesday September 28
The Boston Red Sox have already clinched a playoff spot, but you can bet that they also want that division title. They will have a chance to grab that this week, and I like them to knock off the Yankees on Wednesday with Clay Buchholz on the mound. The Sox have gone 8-2 in the last 10 games he has started.
Wednesday may well be the last time we see Jake Arietta pitch in the regular season, and he will want to get in a solid work for the playoffs. Look for him and the Cubs to blow past the Pirates on Wednesday night.
MLB Parlay for Thursday September 29
Chris Archer has pitched well for the Tampa Bay Rays this season, but he has had little in the way of support from his offense. The Rays have lost 7 of the last 10 games that he has started, and I think they will lose again on Thursday when they face the Chicago White Sox.
The LA Dodgers will start Brett Anderson on Thursday night, and will definitely give up some runs. Anderson has yielded 15 runs in 3 starts, and will be going against Christian Friedrich of the Padres, who has given up 11 runs in his last 3. Let’s go with the OVER in this one.
MLB Parlay for Friday, September 30
The Cleveland Indians should have the division sewn up by the time Friday rolls around, but they will want to hit the postseason on a winning run. They will send Josh Tomlin to the mound to face the Royals for this one. Tomlin pitched a gem the last time out versus KC, and I like him to do the same here.
There have been few high points for the Colorado Rockies this season, but the play of pitcher Chad Bettis (13-8, 4.92 ERA) is one of the few positives. I like Bettis and the Rockies to get the win over the Brewers on Friday.
