Expert Parlay Picks for the MLB Weekend
There’s nothing quite like putting your feet up for the weekend and watching some baseball on TV. The only thing that can make it any better is cashing some winning tickets while you tune in. While betting on individual games is fun, it all gets a little bit more exciting, not to mention potentially profitable, when you go with a parlay ticket or two. What we are going to do here is take a look at the weekend MLB action to see if we can put together a few winning parlays. I will do a ticket for each of the three days this weekend, and will choose two teams to go with on each of those days. The payouts will depend on the betting odds, so be sure to keep an eye on those at the MLB betting page at MyBookie.ag.
Top Weekend MLB Parlay Picks
MLB Parlay Picks for Friday
The Pittsburgh Pirates have a lot of work to do is they want to get back into the hunt in the Central Division, and they can help their cause by beating a Philadelphia Phillies team that is very much there for the taking. Gerrit Cole has not been at his best this season, especially in his last 4 starts, but you have to feel as though he is going to break out of that slump. I think he’ll do it in this one.
One of the best pitching match-ups of the night sees Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants go against Masahiro Tanaka of the Yankees. Both of these men are having stellar seasons, but Bumgarner doesn’t always get the un support that his pitching deserves. The same cannot be said for Tanaka and the Yankees, as they have lit it up the last 6 times he has been on the mound. Have to go with the Yankees here.
MLB Parlay Picks for Saturday
The San Diego Padres have been a pretty woeful 18-30 on the road this season, and they have what looks like an insurmountable task ahead of them in Washington this weekend. This is a series that the Nationals could very well sweep, but you really have to like their chances on Saturday with Max Scherzer on the mound.
The Chicago Cubs did not end the first half of the season on a particularly high note, but they have bounced back to win the opening two series of the second half. The Cubs are 26-13 in divisional games this season, while the Brewers are just 12-21. Seems like a mismatch to me.
MLB Parlay Picks for Sunday
The New York Mets are losing ground to both the Nationals and the Marlins in the NL East, but they have a chance to turn that around this weekend in Miami. Their best chance for a win comes on Sunday, when they will face Marlins pitcher Jose Urena, who has worked mostly in relief this season. He did look sharp in 5.2 innings against the Phillies in his last game, but this is a much tougher task. Mets to win here.
The Boston Red Sox come into their weekend series with the Minnesota Twins having won 9 of their last 10 games. They are on fire right now, and with Rick Porcello on the mound this coming Sunday, you really have to like their chances of coming away with the win in this one.
