Winning the first game of a playoff series usually allows a team to build some momentum, but that is not what happened with the Chicago Bulls. They looked supremely confident in Game 1, but got a little sloppy in Game 2. Derrick Rose was held off the board in the first quarter, and the Bulls only managed a total of 11 points. Things started to turn around in Game 2 when Rose started to roll in the third quarter. It was Jimmy Butler once again who put things to bed in Game 2, with a couple of killer 3-pointers in the final quarter. What does Game 4 have in store? Read this NBA betting preview to find out.

The Bucks haven’t really shown much over the first 2 games of the series, but things can change when home court advantage kicks in. The Bulls should realize that they have the Bucks in a choke hold, which is why they will likely try to turn up the heat in Game 3. One thing that goes in the favor of the Bulls, other than the hot play of Rose and Butler, is their road record. They had the second best away record in the Eastern Conference during the regular season, so a couple of games in Milwaukee should not really concern them. The Bucks were always going to be in for a tough go of things, as they are seriously lacking in any sort of playoff experience. Their top 3 players, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Michael Carter-Williams, have never played in the postseason, and it clearly showed in Game 1. They did do better in Game 2, with Middleton in particular looking a whole lot more comfortable. Carter-Williams also did a much better job of guarding Derrick Rose, at least for a while. The Bucks put up a defensive fight for as long as they could in Game 2, but the better team eventually found a way to break them down and pull away. While home court advantage usually helps give the home squad the boost they need, Bulls fans traditionally travel to Milwaukee in droves. A slow start for the Bucks in Game 3 could make the BMO Harris Bradley Center feel more like the United Center.

Consider This Before Placing Your Bets

While Milwaukee has looked good for small periods in the opening 2 games, they simply haven’t shown enough to make me believe that they can get back into this one. I think the Bulls win this one, setting up the potential for the sweep in Game 4.
