It is at this point of the NBA season that clear online betting favorites begin to emerge, and it’s very often teams that no-one gave a second thought to in the early part of the season. No-one has ridden that rollercoaster harder than the Cleveland Cavaliers. They came into the season as one of the favorites to win it all, only to come stumbling hard out the gate. They have since put things together, and are now once again one of the top contenders. They will try to keep their great run of form going in Milwaukee on Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers have essentially been rolling over everyone in their path since the middle of January, and show no signs of slowing down. The trio of James, Love, and Irving are clicking now like everyone thought they would, and that spells trouble for the other Eastern Conference teams when the playoffs begin. The Cavs have won 8 of their last 10, with both losses coming on the road. If there is one point of concern for Cleveland this season, it would be their road record, as they are just 3 games above .500 away from home. With second spot in the East pretty much assured, they just have to maintain their home form in the playoffs and they should be able to roll to the conference final, assuming they maintain this current form. The Bucks do not look like a very confident bunch at this crucial stage of the season. Their playoff ticket has not officially been punched, but barring some major disaster, they will go into the postseason as the #6 seed. How far they can go remains to be seen, though, as this is a team that has been in freefall for quite some time now. Milwaukee has won just 4 of their last 6 games, but did manage to string together two in a row before losing to Orlando on Saturday night. After Cleveland, they have a pretty manageable schedule to finish the season. They will be hoping to end on a positive note going into the postseason.

Consider This Before Placing Your Bets

I think we can ignore the less than stellar record that Cleveland has on the road with this one, as they are facing a Bucks team that looks ill-prepared for postseason play. The Cavs have a 2-1 season series lead over Milwaukee, and should comfortably make it 3 on Wednesday.
