Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (March 20th – 25th)
The NBA playoffs are now officially visible on the horizon, and some of the top teams are already starting to give their best players a night off here and there. Fans of the game tend to complain about this tactic, but they would complain a whole lot louder of their favorite player went down for the season in a meaningless game. Despite these rest days for the stars there are still an awful lot of good games on the schedule of this coming week, as there is still an awful lot to play for in both conferences. Let’s look ahead at the NBA betting picks and games that you may well be tempted to play this week.
Here’s A Closer Look At The Top NBA Betting Games Of The Week (March 20th – 25th)
Washington Wizards at Boston Celtics – Monday
One of these teams is more than likely going to end up with the second seed in the Eastern Conference and this may well be the game that goes a long way towards deciding it. The Boston Celtics have that spot right now, but ae just a game and a half up on the Wizards. Boston will tell you that they still have designs on the top spot, but they just haven’t been able to close the gap on the Cavaliers, and it doesn’t look as though they are going to be able to. If Washington can pull this one out, the battle for second will go down to the wire.
Milwaukee Bucks at Portland Trail Blazers – Tuesday
Definitely not the most glamorous match-up on the schedule this week, but one that could have a serious impact on the playoff races in both conferences. The Milwaukee Bucks are in the #7 spot in the East at the moment, but are just a half game up on the Miami Heat in the #9 spot. Over in the West, the Trail Blazers are sitting below the playoff line, but only by the very slightest of margins. As far as playoff importance goes, games don’t get much bigger than this.
Detroit Pistons at Chicago Bulls – Wednesday
At this stage of the season, it is often the battles at the bottom of the playoff race that are the most intriguing and this one certainly fits the bill. The Detroit Pistons are desperately clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference but there are a small group of teams well within reach. This group includes the Chicago Bulls, who are currently just 1 game off the playoff pace. Things could get even tighter here if the Bulls can pull out the win.
Utah Jazz at LA Clippers – Saturday
Both of these teams appear to be safely in the playoffs, but this match-up is one to watch because it may well be one of the first-round games in the Western Conference. The Jazz are currently sitting in the #4 spot, which would give them home court advantage in the opening round, while the Clippers are tucked in behind them at #5. While what happens in this game is not necessarily an indication of what would happen in a playoff series between the two, it will still be a fun preview.
