2018 Rose Bowl Betting Preview

Kick-off for the 2018 Rose Bowl is scheduled for January 1st, 2018. The game will be televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, and broadcast on ESPN Radio and XM Satellite Radio, with the kickoff time set for 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. local time). Cord cutters can stream the game via WatchESPN.

The two participants, ranked No. 1 and No. 4 or No. 2 and No. 3 by the CFP selection committee, will be announced on December 3, 2017. Traditionally, the Rose Bowl pits the winners of the Big Ten Conference and Pac-12 Conference. But, when the Rose Bowl is a CFP semifinal (every three years beginning with this game), any teams may be selected.

The matchups for the Rose Bowl and the other semifinal, the 2018 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, will be geographically selected neither of the teams plays in road conditions. More than one team from the same conference may participate in the game, and avoiding rematches will not be a selection factor.

If the game were to be played today the matchups would be:

#1 Alabama vs #4 Oklahoma or #2 Clemson vs #3 Miami.

Which top four teams will play in the 2018 edition? Which National Championship hopeful should you bet on to win the 2018 Rose Bowl? Answers to those questions and more can be found on our college football betting blog.
