It’s hard to believe, but we are already heading into College Football Week 3, with a lot of very good games circled on the calendar for this week. We have already looked at the top 4 teams in the country in another piece, so let’s shift focus a little to see if we can come up with some NCAAF betting picks for this weekend. We will put together a trio of tickets featuring SU, ATS, and O/U parlays, with 3 games on each, so let’s get right to it.
The game between Ohio State and TCU ranks as one of the best on the Week 3 schedule, with the Buckeyes In as 13 ½ point favorites. Given how TCU can score, that spread seems a little high to me, which is why I am on the Horned Frogs to cover.

Let’s start out by looking at the early games on Saturday, with the Florida State/Syracuse match-up jumping right off the page. It has been an uneven start to the season for the Seminoles who come in at 1-1, while Syracuse remains unbeaten. A close one, but I like Florida State to win. Duke has been defensively sounded in their opening two weeks, which has helped them jump out to a 2-0 record. The defense is going to need to be at its best against a Baylor Bears team that knows how to score. Slight edge to Duke in this one. One of the better evening games sees the USC Trojans go on the road to face the Texas Longhorns as a slight underdog. Neither team has made the start to the season they wanted, with the loser of this one destined to go 1-2. I am on USC to win here.College Football Week 3 ATS Parlay
The Miami Hurricanes were soundly beaten by LSU in Week 1 but were able to bounce back with an impressive offensive showing, albeit against a much lesser opponent in Week 2. This week they head into Toledo as a 10-point favorite, a spread I like them to cover. West Virginia and NC State are both off to fast starts, although they will both admit that their wins have come against much lesser opposition. The Mountaineers go on the road this week as a 3-point underdog in a game that I think they win outright, thus covering the spread.
