The goal of very team heading into the 2016 college football season is to win a National Championship, but that all begins with making the playoffs. The ACC has done well since the new playoff format has been put in place, as they have had a representative in the final four in the first two years. The Clemson Tigers, who just missed out on winning it all last season, are favorites to come out of this conference once again, but they are going to have a battle on their hands. There are some very good teams in the ACC, and that is good news for online college football odds fans, as that means that there are a number of great games to watch and wager on. Let’s take a look at a few games that jump right off the schedule.

ACC Most Anticipated Conference Betting Matches

Georgia Tech Vs Boston College – Sept 3

This game may not feature two of the most glamorous teams in the conference, but it is a unique meeting that kicks off with Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets the first Saturday of the new college football season. The unique aspect of this game is that it is being played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, and that means that your football weekend is going to get off to an early start, 7:30 am EST to be precise. This is a great opportunity to get money in the bank before the bulk of the games start at noon.

Louisville Vs Florida State – Sept 17

The Seminoles have a tough start to their season, but could well be on a high coming into this one if they can take out Ole Miss in the opening week of the season. A trip to Louisville is not going to be an easy one, though, especially since the Cardinals have a number of starters returning to a defensive unit that was in the top 15 last year. The team that comes away with the win here could fill the second place spot behind Clemson in the ACC.

Clemson Vs Louisville – Oct 1

I’m putting this game in here with an asterisk beside it. While this has all the makings of a great match-up, what would really take it to a whole new level is if Louisville Cardinals can win that game against Florida State, which is something they haven’t been able to do for a couple of years now. If they can pull that off, though, they will be in a position to take over the top spot from the Tigers, and that would be a major talking point.

Miami Vs Notre Dame – Oct 29

Okay, I know that Notre Dame are not an ACC team, but since they play 5 games against that conference each season, they might as well be. The Irish are looking to have a bit of a bounce back year, while Miami are perhaps on the brink of a return to greatness under new head coach mark Richt. This is one that a lot of people are going to be paying attention to.
