It’s rivalry week in college football, and that means we are sure to get more than our fair share of fireworks this weekend. One that looks like a bit of a damp squib on paper may well turn out to be something totally different. Florida State have already punched their ticket into the ACC Championship game to face Georgia Tech, but they have not yet solidified a playoff spot. The Florida Gators would love to be the team that takes that away Lets see what the College Football betting odds say about this.

Why Bet on the FSU Seminoles
The Seminoles are pretty far from the team that won it all last year, yet they have still somehow found a way to go unbeaten so far this season. They have had numerous close calls along the way, though, and have spent a large chunk of the season digging themselves out of holes that they put themselves in. They have also had the added distraction of a QB in Jameis Winston, who seems unable to get his act together off the field. When it comes to sports, though, all that most fans really care about is what happens on the field.
Why Bet on the Florida Gators
That reasoning will help explain why Will Muschamp will be coaching his final regular season game with the Gators this coming weekend. The once proud Gators have come pretty close to being irrelevant under their fiery head coach, and that will just not do for a program that is not that far removed from multiple National Championships. Muschamp and his men would love nothing more than to make one big final statement in this game, but they look to be in very, very tough here.
My Expert Betting Game Analysis and Prediction
The bookies don’t seem to believe that the Gators have any real bite, as they have installed the Florida State Seminoles as 7.5-point favorites. In truth, the Noles have been far from convincing, and are in fact just 3-8 ATS this season, which includes a rather unimpressive 1-5 ATS record at home. Florida are 5-5 ATS this season, going 2-2 as the underdog, and 2-1 ATS on the road. In the two meeting prior to this one, the teams have split the difference, both straight up and against the spread. The last time these two met at the home of the Seminoles, it was the home team that won and covered.
If the Florida Gators are to get any type of joy here, they are going to have to put in a performance similar to that which they had against another big rival, the Georgia Bulldogs. The chances of that happening are slim, though, which is why I like the Seminoles -7.5.
