The Missouri Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats will square off in a Week 4 matchup that looks like one of the best bets on the board for NCAA Football betting fans for the entire Week 4 slate of collegiate gridiron action. Now, let’s find out why this game is one of my ‘lock alert’ picks of the week.

How To Bet the Tigers @ Wildcats NCAA Football Odds & Game Info

When: Saturday, September 26, 7:30 PM ET
Where: Commonwealth Stadium, Lexington, Kentucky
NCAAF Odds: Kentucky -3
Over/Under: 44

Why Bet on the Kentucky Wildcats

Kentucky couldn’t maintain the momentum they built by beating South Carolina in Week 2 and comes into this Week 4 SEC showdown off a dismal 14-9 loss against Florida in Week 3 in which they failed to cover the spread as 3.5-point home underdogs. The Wildcats were limited to 115 rushing yards and just 126 passing yards in the loss and saw quarterback Patrick Towles limited to just 8-for-24 passing.

Why Bet on the Missouri Tigers

Missouri didn’t look very good at all in squeaking past UConn 9-6 in Week 3 and never came close to covering the spread as a 21-point home favorite. The Tigers shut out the Huskies after giving up six first quarter points. Quarterback Maty Mauk completed 14 of 22 passes for 145 yards with one interception in the win.

My Expert Game Analysis, Prediction & Pick

I don’t know what’s wrong with Missouri right now, but I still like the Tigers to win outright and cover the spread as a slight road dog against a Kentucky team they should be able to handle fairly easily in this contest.

Missouri is 14-3 ATS in their last 17 road games while Kentucky has gone 2-5 ATS in its last seven games, making the Tigers virtual locks to win and cash in despite the fact that a surprising 61 percent of public bettors likes Kentucky to cover the spread at home.

The Pick: Missouri +3 Points.
