With the 2016 college football season set to get underway in just over one week, it’s time to take a glance at some of the must-watch games of the 2016 college football betting season!

Now, keep in mind, I’m only highlighting seven games that I believe are must-see TV matchups for college football odds fans and betting enthusiasts everywhere. No free picks are being offered, even though you will get a hint at who I like in each contest. Okay, with that said, let’s rock and roll!

Here’s a Closer Look At The Must Watch Games For 2016 College Football Season

Oklahoma -9.5 at Houston

The Oklahoma Sooners went 11-2 last season to reach the four-team College Football Playoff, but they’re going to have their hands full in trying to take down a Houston Cougars team that went 13-1 and has one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. For me, there is no way Oklahoma should be favored by a whopping 9.5 points, if at all!

Alabama -4.5 at Mississippi

Alabama may be the defending national champs and No. 1 team in the nation in almost every preseason poll, but the Crimson Tide have also lost two straight against explosive Mississippi. Can the Tide avoid another upset against Ole Miss with a new starting quarterback and running back? Will Mississippi quarterback Chad Kelly light up Alabama’s secondary for the second straight season? Hmm…I smell an upset!

Michigan State at Notre Dame -6

Michigan State will have a new starting quarterback this season as they hit the road to take on a Notre Dame team that has two signal-callers that could start for just about any team in the nation. The Spartans generally play outstanding defense and have recorded double-digit victories in five of the last six seasons. Notre Dame just had a half-dozen players arrested in two separate incidents that could alter some of head coach Brian Kelly’s plans heading into the season. Personally, I have no idea why senior cornerback Devin Butler’s tackle of a South Bend police officer, outside the ‘Linebacker Lounge’ got him suspended, but hey, that’s just me.

Stanford at Notre Dame -3

Notre Dame will be looking for revenge for their heartbreaking 38-36 road loss against Stanford last season, but I’m not sure they’ll get it even though the Cardinal will have a new starting quarterback this season following the graduation of longtime starter Kevin Hogan. For me, Stanford running back Christian McCaffery is the best player in the country and he’ll show why in this nationally-televised showdown.

Clemson at Florida State -1.5

Clemson jumped all over their ACC rivals a year ago to snap  three-game losing streak by beating Florida State 23-13 en route to their national championship appearance. The Seminoles will have a new starting quarterback in gifted youngster Deondre Francois, but I expect Clemson superstar signal-caller Deshaun Watson to show everyone why he’s the best quarterback in the nation!

Ohio State -4.5 at Michigan State

The Buckeyes (12-1) and Spartans (12-2) both won a dozen games last season, but Ohio State is the only team in this matchup with an elite quarterback. I don’t know if the Buckeyes should be favored by 4.5 points on the road, but I like J.T. Barrett to lead Ohio State to the SU win in this must-see matchup of national title hopefuls.

Michigan -2 at Michigan State

Michigan State recorded one of the most improbable victories in recent college football memory by taking out the Wolverines on the final play of the game a year ago en route to a stunning 27-23 road win in Ann Arbor. Will Jim Harbaugh’s team get its revenge on the road or will Michigan State harass the Wolverines’ new starting quarterback into a bad day? I’m going with the latter!
