NCAAF Week 2 Parlay Picks and Winning Predictions

NCAAF Week 2 Parlay Picks and Winning Predictions

Written by on September 5, 2017

Week 1 of the 2017 college football season came to a close on Monday night with an instant classic between the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Tennessee Volunteers, which the Vols won 42-41 in OT. It’s now time to shake that one off and start thinking about the NCAAF Week 2 schedule, which means checking the available NCAAF betting spreads and coming up with some winning picks. For the purposes of this piece, I am going to try and put together some parlay tickets for this coming weekend. I will start out with a SU parlay ticket, and then close things out with an ATS ticket. I will have 3 teams in each, which will hopefully put a little bit of money in my bankroll by the time Week 2 of the college football season comes to a close. Without any further ado, let’s get to the picks.

NCAAF Week 2 Parlay Picks and Winning Predictions

NCAAF Week 2 SU Parlay Ticket

Western Michigan played out of their skin last week, giving the USC Trojans all they could handle for three quarters before finally succumbing to the more talented team. This weekend will see them go against the Michigan State Spartans, a team that they are currently 0-6 against. While I expect the Broncos to put in another good performance, I think they are going to come up just a little short again. They might just cover in this one, but I don’t think they will do enough to win SU.

College Football Week 2 ATS Picks and Winning Favorites

The Northwestern Wildcats go on the road to face the Duke Blue Devils in a game that the bookies have down as potentially being a tight one. Both teams came up with wins in their opening games of the season, and while this one is sure to be a tough road challenge for the Wildcats, it’s certainly one that I believe they are good enough to overcome. Northwestern are 8-2 in their last 10 meetings with Duke, and are 9-4 SU in their last 13 games on the road. I think they are a good addition to this potentially profitable parlay ticket. The Louisville Cardinals go on the road as a solid favorite this weekend against a North Carolina Tar Heels team that is no winless in 3 games. Over their last 21 games, the Cardinals have put together a 16-5 record, and are 6-2 in their last 8 road games. North Carolina has struggled regardless of where they play, and have only managed 2 wins in their last 6 games at home. Going with Louisville to complete the 3-team parlay.

NCAAF Week 2 ATS Parlay Ticket

NCAAF Week 2 Picks: Oklahoma State proved in Week 1 that they are once again going to be an offensive force to be reckoned with. Oklahoma State Cowboys proved in Week 1 that they are once again going to be an offensive force to be reckoned with, which does not bode well for the South Alabama Jaguars this weekend. The Cowboys are routinely given large spreads to cover (28 points this week), but they do it well, going 6-2 ATS in their last 8. I think they will cover this coming weekend against a Jaguars team that is there for the taking. We have what looks to be a very good game on tap this Saturday, with the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones going head to head in a big in-state rivalry game. The Bookies have the Hawkeyes as a slight 1.5-point favorite, and since I think that this has the makings of a field goal game, we have a solid opportunity to add Iowa to our ATS parlay ticket. I like the Hawkeyes to come away with the win, covering in the process. The Indiana Hoosiers may have lost in Week 1 against the Ohio State Buckeyes, but they impressed a lot of people with their up-tempo offense, which gave the Buckeyes fits for three quarters. The Hoosiers will go against the Virginia Cavaliers this weekend, and are in as a 3-point favorite. Given how good their offense looked against quality opposition, I believe they can cover that spread and come away with a win against the Cavaliers.
