College Football Week 8 Parlay Betting Preview & Picks

Written by on October 17, 2017

With so many games on the college football calendar every weekend, it can be tough to decide on just a few games to play as singles. One of the best ways around this dilemma is to put together some College Football Week 8 parlay picks. We put together a trio of parlay tickets every week and will be looking to bounce back after a weekend that saw a lot of players have their tickets busted with some major upsets. All told, we have 4 top 10 teams fall to defeat in Week 7, which certainly shook things up in the national rankings. The results of last week proved once again that there is no such thing as a sure bet in college football, but let’s check the latest NCAAF Lines and see if we can put together some winning parlay tickets for Week 8 of the college football season.

College Football Week 8 Parlay Betting Preview & Picks

College Football Week 8 Parlay – Straight Up

Let’s get things rolling with a game featuring a pair of ranked opponents. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have recovered brilliantly since losing to Georgia early in the season, and I think they can get the win over a USC Trojans team that has been struggling to meet their high preseason expectations. I always like to try and add a longshot pick to my SU parlay tickets, and my choice this week is the Boston College Screaming Eagles over the Virginia Cavaliers. BC is coming off a huge win against Louisville last weekend, and I think they can eke out the win in this one. The Syracuse Orange delivered the upset of the season with their takedown of the Clemson Tigers last weekend, and they have a chance to take another big scalp in Week 8 when they face the unbeaten Miami Hurricanes. I just don’t see them pulling off back to back upset wins.

Latest College Football Betting Trends for Week 8

  • Southern California is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games
  • Notre Dame is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
  • Boston College is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games
  • Virginia is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
  • Syracuse is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing Miami-FL
  • Miami is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games at home

College Football Week 8 Parlay – Against The Spread

I have a couple of underdog picks ready to go with this parlay ticket, and it all begins with the Louisville Cardinals as a 6 ½ point dog versus the Florida State Seminoles. Louisville has lost back to back games, but are going against a Seminoles team that looks to have given up on the season. Florida State should be on your College Football Week 8 Parlay ticket. The UCF Knights are unbeaten on the season, and they also have a perfect 5-0 record ATS. They will have another tough game against the Navy Midshipmen this weekend, but I like them to maintain that unbeaten streak by covering the 8-point spread. The Iowa State Cyclones pulled off one of the surprises of the season when they took out the Oklahoma Sooners a couple of weeks back, and I think they have it in them to get another win as a 6-point underdog against the Texas Tech Red Raiders this weekend.

Latest College Football Betting Trends for Week 8

  • Louisville is 1-5-1 ATS in its last 7 games on the road
  • Florida State is 0-4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Central Florida is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Navy is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 games
  • Iowa State is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games on the road
  • Texas Tech is 4-0-1 ATS in its last 5 games at home

College Football Week 8 Parlay – Over/Under

The Iowa Hawkeyes are a team that has become synonymous with low-scoring defensive football games, and they have the O/U record to prove it. Same rules apply to Northwestern, as 10 of their last 13 home games have gone UNDER. Let’s take the UNDER 48 here. The Purdue Boilermakers and Rutgers Scarlet Knights have a combined O/U record of 4-7 this season, with 5 of Purdue’s games going UNDER. The point total for this one is set at 47 ½, and I don’t think these two will have any problem going UNDER that mark. Let’s close out this parlay ticket with an OVER play, with the TCU Horned Frogs always a good bet in that regard. They will be facing the Kansas Jayhawks this weekend, with the total set at 59 ½. Since I think there is a good chance that TCU racks up 50 points in this one, the OVER seems like a good bet.

Latest College Football Betting Trends for Week 8

  • The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Iowa’s last 6 games
  • In 10 of Northwestern’s last 13 games at home, the total has gone UNDER
  • The total has gone OVER in 15 of Purdue’s last 23 games
  • The total has gone OVER in 6 of Kansas’s last 7 games
  • In 4 of Texas Christian’s last 5 games playing Kansas, the total has gone UNDER
