2016 Seattle Seahawks NFL Betting Guide

Written by on July 18, 2016

If you’re planning on betting on Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks early and often in 2016, then you need a killer NFL betting odds guide on Seattle’s must-bet matchups this coming season. With the start of NFL training camps quickly approaching, let’s get started with Seattle’s Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

Check Out This Sneak Peek at the 2016 Seattle Seahawks NFL Betting Guide

Week 1

Miami Dolphins at Seattle (-8.5, 44.5)

The Seahawks won three of their final four games in 2015 while covering the spread in each SU victory while going 5-3 SU and 4-4 ATS in their eight home dates last season. The Miami Dolphins lost their final two home games last season and four of five overall while failing to cover the spread in each loss. The bottom line for Seattle’s regular season opener is that they’re the better team in all three phases of the game and should easily handle a Dolphins team that will enter this contest with a new head coach, but the same old mediocre quarterback in Ryan Tannehill. This opener is a must-bet matchup if only because the Seahawks are a virtual lock!

Week 2

Seattle (-4) at Los Angeles Rams

Sure, the Los Angeles Rams are rebuilding (again) and a hoping that No. 1 overall draft pick Jared Goff can get them where they want to g in the near future, but the fact of the matter is that this Week 2 pairing is a must-bet matchup if only because the Rams give their NFC West rivals a hard way to go virtually every time they meet, a evidenced by heir regular season sweep over Seattle last season. Russell Wilson and company won four of five against the Rams before last season, but I’m thinking the Seahawks are in for another knock-down, drag-out affair in this must-bet matchup.

Week 3

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle (-14)

This divisional battle is another must-bet meeting if only because it’s going to be really fun to see San Francisco’s explosive offense under Chip Kelly go up against Seattle’s Legion of Doom defense! Either way, I’m not feeling a Seahawks win by at least 15 points.

Week 7

Seattle at Arizona Cardinals (-1)

The Arizona Cardinals won an impressive 13 games in 2015 to bag the NFC West title, but the legitimate Super Bowl contenders just can’t seem to overcome their troubles against the Seahawks. Arizona has lost three of four against Richard Sherman and the ‘Legion’ and got blown out of the water in their 36-6 blowout home loss against the Seahawks late last season. Make no mistake about it NFL betting buffs, this is a huge, must-bet matchup for both teams involved.

Week 10

Seattle at New England Patriots (-2)

I don’t think any NFL fan or betting aficionado will miss this Week 10 must-bet matchup as Seattle looks to extract a small measure of revenge for their absolutely heartbreaking Super Bowl 49 loss against New England. Better yet, Tom Brady will be on the field for the Pats after almost assuredly missing the first four games of the season.

Week 13

Carolina Panthers at Seattle (-3)

This Week 13 matchup is set to be a real thriller with Cam Newton and the defending NFC champion Carolina Panthers looking to take down a Seattle Seahawks team that won each of the two previous conference titles and most definitely will want to deliver a message in this matchup after losing to Carolina in each of the past two seasons.

Week 14

Seattle at Green Bay Packers (-2)

While the Packers managed to beat Seattle 27-17 early last season, the Seahawks won each of the previous three meetings, including one unforgettable Monday Night Football matchup that was decided by complete controversy. No mater which team comes out on top, Aaron Rodgers versus Russell Wilson is must-see TV and a must-bet matchup!
