NFL 2016 Week 1 Odds

Written by on April 21, 2016

Just hours after the league released the 2016 NFL regular season schedule last Thursday, MyBookie.ag released its Week 1 NFL betting odds, with many other sportsbooks following suit with their versions of the Week 1 Point Spreads and Game Totals. The first week of the new NFL season, which is set to kick off on Thursday, Sept. 8, will start with a clash between the Super Bowl 50 Champions, Denver Broncos, and the Carolina Panthers at Sports Authority Field in Denver.

NFL 2016 Week 1 Odds

We won’t be having the retired QB Peyton Manning in this Super Bowl 50 rematch and neither will his former backup Brock Osweiler be available here, after he jumped ship to the Houston Texans in the offseason. This should, however, still be a fun matchup if Von Miller and Denver’s stingy defense show up strongly for an intriguing matchup against the Cam Newton-led Panthers offense, with Carolina obviously coming into this game in search of retribution after heartlessly losing to the Broncos in the Super Bowl 50 game. Here are the NFL odds for this Carolina at Denver showdown, along with the rest of the Week 1 opening NFL Point Spreads and Totals, as per the early lines from MyBookie.ag Online SuperBook:

Thursday, September 8th, 2016

  • Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos (-3, 43.5)

Note on NFLL Week 1 NBA Betting

As always, these opening lines could see some drastic changes and shits as we unravel the bevvy of happenings in the offseason, so you’d be better off sitting out the Week 1 action for while, at least until we are sure about the likely starters for the Week 1 NFL games.
