How to Wager On The Broncos vs Steelers Moneyline

Written by on January 13, 2016

The AFC is pretty wide open this season, and you really could make a legitimate case for any of the remaining 4 teams winning Super Bowl 50. Injury issues could prove to be the undoing of the Pittsburgh Steelers, though, and they are up against it in a big way on Sunday, January 17 when they face the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The kick-off for this on is set for 4:40 PM EST on CBS.

A Quick Word On The Moneyline

The Broncos will almost certainly be the favorites for this one, but many bookies are taking this one off the board until they get a better idea of who will and won’t be playing for the Steelers. Keep up to date with all the odds changes by checking in to MyBookie.ag on a regular basis. You can always get your wagers in on the other Divisional Games while you wait for the odds of this one to go live.

Why Bet On The Denver Broncos Straight Up Moneyline

The Broncos have not been particularly convincing on offense this season, with both Peyton Manning and backup Brock Osweiler struggling at different times in the season. Despite their lackluster play, the Broncos still managed to go a very respectable 6-2 at home during the regular season. Mile High is not a place where any team wants to go play, as the Broncos have always been solid on their own turf. Denver has been known as an offensive team for quite some time now, but it is their defense that has led the way this season. They have given up just 18.5 PPG this season, which is good enough for 4th overall in the NFL. The offense is down at the middle of the pack with just 22.2 PPG, but they do have enough playmakers to go off at any given time. If Manning can avoid the mistakes that plagued him before he went down with an injury, the Broncos are going to be tough to beat.

Why Bet On The Pittsburgh Steelers Straight Up Moneyline

Take one look at the injury list for the Pittsburgh Steelers and it would be easy to immediately write them off. That would be a mistake, though, as this team has shown time and again this season that it has what it takes to overcome adversity. They lost LeVeon Bell early in the season, but somehow managed to plug that gap with DeAngelo Williams. Big ben missed 4 games, and has played several games with injuries that would have forced other QB’s into holding a clipboard on the sideline. The defense has been much maligned, but they have stepped up on the big stage. They were huge against the Bengals in Wild Card Weekend, with much of their brilliance being lost behind the Bengals implosion at the end of that game. Big Ben may end up playing with a bum shoulder, but he has a brilliant outlet in Heath Miller at tight end. He also has a defense that features the play making ability of Ryan Shazier. Don’t count the Steelers out just yet.

Broncos vs Steelers Moneyline Betting Prediction

The Broncos deserve to be favorites due to the fact that the Steelers are so banged up. You just feel that a healthy team will always come out on top versus one that is essentially being held together by Band-Aids. I have to go with the Broncos for the win.
