The Lions are playing at home and likely want some payback for their 21-14 road loss against the Rams last season and will face a L.A. squad that has gone 7-15 SU in its last 22 road games and 3-5- 1 ATS in its last nine road dates. I know Los Angeles is 6-3 SU and ATS in its last nine games overall, but the Lions have gone 4-2 SU and ATS in its last half-dozen home games. More importantly, the Lions have an offense that can be downright explosive behind strong-armed quarterback Matthew Stafford and their handful of gifted skill position players. Career backup-turned- starter Case Keenum can only do so much with his limited skill set, making the Rams a one-dimensional team that opponents can force to struggle by keying on running back Todd Gurley.
