NFL Lines & Betting Prediction on Bills vs. Falcons Week 4 Match-Up.

NY Jets at Buffalo Expert Pick & Betting Odds

Written by on September 14, 2016

After dropping their respective regular season openers, the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills will both go all-out to get the ‘W’ when they brawl for it all on Thursday night. Now, let’s find out why I believe this Week 2 matchup is a near lock selection in the NFL odds.

NY Jets at Buffalo Expert Pick & Betting Odds & TV Info

When: Thursday, September 15, 2016 Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, New York TV: CBS Radio: New York / Buffalo Stream Option: NFL.com NFL Odds: Pick ‘Em Over/Under: 40.5

Bet The New York Jets as a Pick ‘Em Because…

The Jets have the better defense and far better head coach! New York was on the wrong end of a heartbreaking 23-22 loss to Cincinnati in Week 1 but earned a push as a 1-point home dog. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was limited to 19-for- 35 passing for 189 yards in the defeat although newly acquired veteran running back Matt Forte has a successful debut by rushing for 96 yards on 22 carries while adding 59 yards on five receptions. Defensively, New York played well, although Pro Bowl cornerback Darrelle Revis got repeatedly torched by Cincy’s A.J. Green.

Bet The Buffalo Bills as a Pick ‘Em Because…

The Bills are playing at home and are already semi-desperate. Buffalo looked mostly clueless in their 13-7 Week 1 loss to Baltimore. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 15 of 22 passes for just 111 yards while elusive running back LeSean McCoy was held to a modest 58 yards on 16 carries. Taylor has zero touchdown passes in his last three regular season games. Defensively, Buffalo looked really solid in limiting Baltimore to just 13 points though they only forced one turnover in the loss.

Expert Pick & Final Score Prediction

For me, I think the New York Jets are offering the best value in this AFC East divisional showdown, mostly because they have the better defense and much better head coach in this pairing. I know the Bills have won five straight in this rivalry, but I don ‘t think they’re going to make it six straight by beating the Jets this time around. The Jets have gone 6-2- 1 ATS in their last nine games against their division rivals and the underdog in this series has gone 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings. My Pick: Jets
