NFL Week 11 Top Betting Lines And Matchups
When you only play 16 games in the regular season, every one of them takes on a high level of importance. That is part of what makes the NFL so much fun to watch, as there are not any weeks where teams can afford to relax a bit. The stakes get even higher as the season progresses, though, and once we get past Week 10, we frequently get into a situation where we can legitimately start to talk about division titles and Wild Card races. There are several games on the Week 11 calendar that jump of the page in terms of importance, so let’s look at them, as well as the betting lines for each.
A Closer Look At The NFL Week 11 Top Betting Lines And Matchups
New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers (-3.5)
You hate to call any game a must win at this stage of the season, but that’ exactly what this is for these two NFC South division rivals. The New Orleans Saints are coming off a heartbreaking loss last weekend that dropped them to 4-5, while the Panthers return was stalled in a loss to the Chiefs. With Carolina now sitting at 3-6, their road to the playoffs probably requires them to win out. They have the talent to do it, but do they have the desire.
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (-3)
Another divisional match-up with huge playoff implications. Both teams still have a legitimate shot at running down the Houston Texans for the AFC South division crown, but the realistic path for both looks to be the Wild Card. The Titans have the edge now, and are coming off a massive win against the Green Bay Packers last weekend. The Colts are 4-2 in their last 6 games, and are looking to make a late run at the postseason.
Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings (PK)
Both teams are on the outside looking in at the playoff race, but both are still very much alive. The Minnesota Vikings have been absolutely hammered by injuries all season long, and that appears to be catching up with them, as they are simply unable to buy a win now. At 3-1-1 in their last 5 games, the Cardinals are starting to show that they still have a pulse, and they know that a win against a banged-up Vikings team would put them right in the middle of the playoff hunt. This one is too close to call.
Miami Dolphins at LA Rams (-1)
Are the Miami Dolphins for real, and can they step up in the final few weeks of the season to secure a Wild Card spot? The Dolphins will be heading to LA having won 4 games in a row, and while the Rams have not been particularly impressive I their first season back in LA, they are a team that is very difficult to break down. The Rams are not going to put a lot of points up on the board, but their defense has been very stingy too. The Dolphins may have to grind this one out to stay in the playoff hunt.
