According to the NFL Week 4 Odds, the Seahawks are huge favorites against the Indianapolis Colts

2017 NFL Win/Loss Prediction For The Seattle Seahawks

Written by on June 28, 2017

After winning one Super Bowl and narrowly two, anything less than another Super Bowl title is considered a failure for Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks. Now, after addressing their offseason needs following their good, but not great 10-5-1 campaign in 2016, all eyes will be on the NFC West Super Bowl hopefuls as they look to get back to being, not just a Super Bowl contender, but one of the top favorites to actually win it all. If you want to know how many games Pete Carroll’s squad will win in 2017, then you’re going to enjoy the expert gridiron analysis that you’re about to get on each and every game on Seattle’s 2017 schedule. The Seahawks (10-5-1) have been perennial double-digit winners since 2012 and will do so again in 2017 by recording running the table at home and recording road wins against the 49ers, Rams, Giants, Jaguars and Titans to finish 2017 with an impressive 13 victories.

A Closer Look At The 2017 NFL Win/Loss Prediction For The Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks Win Total Odds 10.5

Week 1

Seahawks at Packers (-3) I’m expecting another thriller between the Seahawks and Packers seeing as how every time they meet these days, another epic takes place. Still, I’ve got Seattle coming out on top despite being on the road, mostly because of their superior defense.

Week 2

49ers at Seahawks (-13) If Russell Wilson and company don’t have the Niners under full control by halftime, I’ll be completely shocked.

Week 3

Seahawks (-2) at Titans Don’t be surprised when the Seahawks lose to the blossoming Titans on the road in Week 3. I won’t be.

Week 4

Colts at Seahawks (-7) I like Andrew Luck, but the Indianapolis Colts are definitely not ready to march in Seattle and walk out with a win.

Week 5

Seahawks (-6) at Rams The Days of the Rams playing the Seahawks tough are gone. Seattle rolls to an easy road win in Week 5 against their NFC West division rivals.

Week 6

BYE

Week 7

Seahawks (PK) at Giants I don’t necessarily believe the Giants will be better than Seattle in 2017, but I like the G-Men to get a hard-fought home win over the Seahawks by limiting Russell Wilson and a Seattle offense that has left a lot to be desired the last couple of seasons.

Week 8

Texans at Seahawks (-7.5) The Texans’ defense will make life tough on Russell Wilson, but Seattle’s defense will do the same to whoever starts under center for the Texans in this Inter-conference matchup. Seattle holds it down at home to get the win (again).

Week 9

Redskins at Seahawks (-8) I think Kirk Cousins and the Redskins will put up a fight in this Week 9 battle, but in the end, they just won’t be able to put enough points on the board against Seattle’s stingy defense.

Week 10 (Thursday)

Seahawks (-1.5) at Cardinals This Week 10 NFC West divisional battle will be one of the few games that Seattle loses in 2017.

Week 11 (Monday)

Falcons at Seahawks (-3) The Falcons have a high-scoring offense, but I like Seattle’s defense to keep Matt Ryan and company largely in check to get the home win in front of their raucous fans.

Week 12

Seahawks (-7.5) at 49ers Can you say, regular season sweep? The Seahawks roll over the Niners for the second time.

Week 13

Eagles at Seahawks (-7) The Birds are another NFC East team that I expect to put up a helluva’ fight when they visit the Seahawks, but just like the Redskins, Philly will come up just short in their quest to get the upset. The Seahawks will subdue the Jags and their quarterback Blake Bortles by the time halftime rolls around.

Week 14

Seahawks (-4) at Jaguars If the Seahawks don’t subdue the Jags and awful quarterback Blake Bortles by the time halftime rolls around, I’m going to become a Jags fan – and that’s not happening!

Week 15

Rams at Seahawks (-13.5) About that regular season sweep thing. Seattle takes two from L.A to break out the brooms.

Week 16

Seahawks at Cowboys (-3) This Week 16 matchup should be a thriller, but I’m backing the Seahawks to get it done in the big D simply because they have the far better defense.

Week 17

Cardinals at Seahawks If Seattle has anything left to play for in Week 17, (they will) you should expect the Seahawks to get the win and regular season split against Arizona. No matter how I look at it, Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks look like locks to top their 10.5-game win total odds in 2017.
