Week 11 NFL Sharp Betting Picks

Written by on November 15, 2016

With 10 weeks of the 2017 NFL season in the books, we are now fast approaching do or die time for a growing number of teams. There are some who look to be a total lock for a playoff spot already, which means the number of spots waiting to be filled will start to shrink in the final few weeks of the season. A few of the games that we are going to look at here will feature some of the teams who cannot afford to take any more losses, and it all begins with a big one on Thursday night.

Here’s A Closer Look At The Week 11 NFL Sharp Betting Picks

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers (-3.5)

The NFC South is once again shaping up to be the division that none of the 4 teams wants to win. The Atlanta Falcons are leading the way at 6-4, while the other three teams are all under .500. This thing is still up for grabs, though, and the winner of this one might just be able to claw their way back in. The Saints have been a little unlucky at times this season, and no more so than last weekend when a game winning kick turned into a block and a return that finished them off. The Panthers have been poor this season, and while all the trends seem to point against them winning here, I have a hunch that they win and cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-7.5) at Cleveland Browns

The Steelers have played themselves into a spot of bother by losing 4 in a row, but there is nothing like a game against the Browns to cure all that ails. The Pittsburgh offense was back at its best against the Cowboys last weekend, but some poor penalties ended up costing them in the end, as Dallas scored late to secure the win. The Browns are a mess at 0-10, but they are also a bad bet at 2-8 ATS this season. This is one that I think the Steelers cover comfortably.

Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

I think it’s fair to say at this point that the Dallas Cowboys are the real deal. The attacking combination of Prescott and Elliott gives this team a double threat that is almost impossible to stop. When the Cowboys have been listed as a favorite in the 2.5 to 9.5-point range this season, they have gone 3-0 ATS, and they are 3-1 ATS in home games. The numbers aren’t quite there for the Ravens, and while they do have back to back wins to build on. I think they go down by double digits in this one.

Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks (-6.5)

All of the early season concerns about the health of Russell Wilson now seem to have been put on the backburner, as the Seahawks are looking like a team about to go on a roll. They are coming into Week 11 with back to back wins, including a big one up in New England in Week 10. This defense is going to go after Carson Wentz in a big way, and we might see some mistakes out of the young QB. I think the Seahawks win and cover comfortably on Sunday.
