After reaching the postseason in the first three years of the Andrew Luck ear, the Indianapolis Colts (8-8 SU, 7-8-1 ATS) have failed to reach the playoffs in each of the last two years while recording identical 8-8 records along the way.

While the Colts may or may not reach the postseason in 2017, there’s no doubt that there are a handful of ‘must-bet’ games on Indy’s 2017 schedule that NFL betting enthusiasts need to know about. Thanks to the expert analysis that you’re about to get, you’re going to find out just which six games are must-bet affairs and what to expect in each one.

Here’s A Closer Look At The 2017 NFL Betting Guide And Predictions For The Indianapolis Colts

Week 1

Colts (-3) at Rams

Analysis: The Rams are heading in a new direction under the league’s youngest head coach of all-time and second-year signal-caller Jared Goff, but this regular season opener is one that Luck and the Colts should easily win despite being on the road. As a point of reference, Luck put 38 points on the board the last time he faced the Rams in 2013.

Pick: Colts 31 Rams 21

Week 7

Jaguars at Colts (-6.5)

Analysis: The Jaguars may have a new head coach in Doug Marrone and a new mindset under Director of Football Operations Tom Coughlin, but they still have the mediocre Blake Bortles under center, which is why Indy will win this AFC South matchup and narrowly cover the NFL betting spread after splitting with the Jags a year ago.

Pick: Colts 28 Jaguars 21

Week 9

Colts at Texans (-3)

Analysis: Indianapolis lost to Houston by three points on the road last season and by five points at home. Unfortunately, Luck and the Colts fall again to the Texans when they meet in the Lone Star State.

Pick: Texans 24 Colts 20

Steelers (-1) at Colts NFL betting

Week 10

Steelers (-1) at Colts

Analysis: This Week 10 matchup will be a real good barometer of just how good the Colts are. Unfortunately, I don’t see them stopping Pittsburgh’s ‘Big Three’ of Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell.

Pick: Steelers 28 Colts 24

Week 12

Titans at Colts (-3)

Analysis: Luck led Indianapolis to a pair of wins against the blossoming Titans last season while winning 24-17 at home in Week 11. The Colts won’t sweep Tennessee again in 2017, but they will win and narrowly cover at home in this Week 12 showdown.

Pick: Indianapolis 30 Tennessee 24

Week 15

Broncos at Colts (-1)

Analysis: If the Broncos get any kind of competent play at the quarterback position in2017 (they will) their powerful defense should be good enough to keep Luck and T.Y. Hilton in check well enough for a road win to stand up.

Pick: Broncos 28 Colts 24
