NFL Week 10 SU Betting Picks

NFL Week 10 SU Betting Picks

Written by on November 5, 2018

Week 9 of the NFL season will come to a close on Monday night, with the Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys going head to head in a game that is certainly a must-win for both. Rather than waiting for that game to be done, we are going to move on to the NFL Week 10 betting action to see if we can get some early picks on the board for you guys. We are going to get things started by going with some SU picks here, but we will also have ATS and O/U selections for Week 10 of the NFL season coming your way, so be on the lookout for those.

NFL Week 10 SU Picks

Pittsburgh Steelers over Carolina Panthers

We don’t have to wait very long to get to one of the best games on the schedule in Week 10. The 6-3 Carolina Panthers will hit the road on Thursday night to face a Steelers team that is on a winning streak and back atop the AFC North.

The Steelers are coming off another statement victory in Week 9, downing the Baltimore Ravens on the road to control their own divisional destiny. The Panthers have now won 3 in a row and are seeing their offense starting to fire on all cylinders. This should be a fun one to watch, but I am on the Steelers to edge it.

Latest NFL Week 10 Betting Trends

  • Carolina is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
  • Carolina is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing Pittsburgh
  • Pittsburgh is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
  • Pittsburgh is 18-7 SU in its last 25 games at home

Chicago Bears over Detroit Lions

This is one of those picks where the trends would lead you in one direction, but where you just feel the need to go the other way. The Lions have won 9 of the last 10 meetings with the Bears, but given their current form, there is not a lot to like here.

Detroit has now lost 2 in a row, scoring just 23 points in the process. Perhaps more surprising is that they would trade away an offensive talent like Golden Tate, which suggests they may be giving up on this season. The Bears are on a modest 2-game win streak and have a real shot at taking the NFC North. I like the Bears to win this one.

Latest NFL Week 10 Betting Trends

  • Detroit is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games on the road
  • Detroit is 9-1 SU in its last 10 games when playing Chicago
  • Chicago is 5-2 SU in its last 7 games
  • Chicago is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games at home

New York Jets over Buffalo Bills

There are a handful of teams in the NFL vying for the inauspicious title of worst team in the league, and it’s certainly fair to suggest that these two are in with that group. Both the Jets and the Bills have a similar problem, which is that they are both unable to generate any sort of meaningful offense.

The Jets should be one of your NFL Week 10 Betting picks.

The Bills have now lost 4 in a row, scoring just 33 points in those games. The Jets have managed the exact same point total in their most recent defeats, although those points came over 3 games. Probably not the most exciting game on the schedule, but a win for the Jets, I believe.

  • Buffalo is 1-5 SU in its last 6 games
  • Buffalo is 1-5 SU in its last 6 games on the road
  • NY is 3-10 SU in its last 13 games
  • NY is 3-6 SU in its last 9 games when playing Buffalo

Indianapolis Colts over Jacksonville Jaguars

It’s easy to forget that the Jacksonville Jaguars were one defensive play away from being in the Super Bowl last season. They came into this year as one of the favorites to be back in the playoffs, but they are in real danger of missing out completely after losing 4 in a row.

Next up is an Indianapolis Colts team that has won back to back games, scoring 79 points in the process. Yes, those wins came against poorer teams, but the offense is clicking right now. The Jaguars are just 1-4 SU in their last 5 visits to Indianapolis, so let’s take them to lose again.

  • Jacksonville is 2-6 SU in its last 8 games on the road
  • Indianapolis is 5-14 SU in its last 19 games
