NFL Week 11 ATS Betting Picks

Written by on November 12, 2018

There have been a number of big surprises this NFL season and that trend certainly continued in Week 10. We saw the Patriots rather soundly beaten by the Tennessee Titans, while the defending Super Bowl Champions continued to struggle, with the Eagles losing to the Cowboys in the Sunday night game. The Chiefs, Saints, and Rams continued to roll, while the Pittsburgh Steelers suddenly look like a legitimate Super Bowl contender. It’s now time to look ahead to NFL Week 11 betting action, especially given that the Monday night game will have zero impact on the standings. Let’s get to some ATS picks, with O/U and SU picks still to come in separate articles.

NFL Week 11 ATS Betting Picks

Tennessee Titans (+2 ½) at Indianapolis Colts

As we mentioned earlier, the 34-10 win that the Titans had over the Patriots in Week 10 was perhaps the surprise of the week. That win means that the Titans have now won back to back games and that they are very much back in the hunt for an AFC South crown and a playoff spot.

They go on the road this week to face an Indianapolis team that is playing good football right now. The Colts are still a game below .500, but they are winners of 3 in a row. The Titans have only won once in their last 10 visits to Indianapolis, but they are a solid 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

Latest NFL Week 11 Betting Trends

  • Tennessee is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games
  • Tennessee is 3-10 ATS in its last 13 games when playing Indianapolis
  • Indianapolis is 2-3-1 ATS in its last 6 games
  • Indianapolis is 2-4-1 ATS in its last 7 games at home

Carolina Panthers (-3 ½) at Detroit Lions

The Panthers are going to need to shake off their Thursday night loss in Week 10, a 52-21 pounding at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they are on the road again this week in Detroit. The Lions have seen their season fall apart in recent weeks, as they come into this one on a 3-game losing skid after falling to Chicago over the weekend.

The Lions look like a team that has thrown in the towel on this season, while the Panthers are still very much in the playoff picture despite their loss to the Steelers. Carolina has won 6 of their last 7 meetings with the Lions, so I expect them to win and cover here.

Latest NFL Week 11 Betting Trends

  • Carolina is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games on the road
  • Carolina is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games when playing Detroit
  • Detroit is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games at home

Houston Texans (-2 ½) at Washington Redskins

After an awful start to the season, the Houston Texans have won 6 in a row to take control of the AFC South, although they must now be feeling the Titans and Colts starting to breathe down their neck a little.

The Texas come in as favorites for NFL Week 11.

They will be on the road to face a Washington Redskins team that is sitting at a very respectable 6-3 on the season, and who now looks like a shoo-in to win the NFC East. This, though, is perhaps the toughest game that the Redskins will have played this season, and I think they may be in trouble against the red-hot Texans.

Latest NFL Week 11 Betting Trends

  • Houston is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games
  • Washington is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Washington is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games at home

Pittsburgh Steelers (-5 ½) at Jacksonville Jaguars

By the time Tuesday afternoon comes and goes, the Leveon Bell saga in Pittsburgh will have come to an end, one way or another. In fairness to the Steelers, they don’t seem to have let any of that bother them, as they have gotten progressively better with each passing week.

They will be in Jacksonville this weekend looking for revenge for the loss they took to the Jaguars in the playoffs last season. The Jags are sinking like a stone at the moment and could well be on to a serious beating here.

  • Pittsburgh is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games
  • Pittsburgh is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games on the road
  • Jacksonville is 0-4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
