NFL Week 13 Parlay Picks

The Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will all look to hold down the fort at home when they host the Los Angeles Rams, Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers in their respective Week 13 matchups. If you’re looking for some expert NFL betting picks that you can string together as part of a potentially powerful parlay, then let’s get to it.

NFL Week 13 Parlay Picks

Los Angeles Rams (10-1) at Detroit Lions (4-7)

  • When: Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 13 Odds: Rams -9.5 / Total: 54.5

Matthew Stafford and the Lions never really challenged Chicago in their 23-16 home loss against the Bears last weekend while failing to cover the chalk as a 3-point home underdog. Detroit is ranked an uninspiring 21st in scoring (21.6 ppg) and 24th in points allowed (26.0 ppg). Los Angeles had a bye this past weekend following their epic 54-51 shootout win over Kansas City in Week 11. The Rams are ranked a stupendous third in scoring (35.4 ppg) and 21st in points allowed (25.6 ppg).

Prediction

I said it before the season that Detroit made a mistake in hiring Matt Patricia as their head coach and we’re seeing that play out right now. Detroit has problems on both sides of the ball while the Rams are scoring points like they’re going out of style.

The Lions have been limited to 20 points or less in four of their last five games while giving up 24 or more three times during the span and 28 points or more twice. The Rams have gone a robust 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a bye week while the Lions are a discouraging 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. L.A. wins and cashes in.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Rams 35 Lions 20

Arizona Cardinals (2-9) at Green Bay Packers (4-6)

  • When: Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 13 Odds: Green Bay -14.5 / Total: 44.5

Arizona has looked and played like a rebuilding team with a first-time head coach and a a first-year rookie quarterback as their starter. The Cardinals have lost three straight and comes into this contest off a horrific 45-10 blowout loss against the Chargers on Sunday. Arizona is ranked 32nd in scoring (14.1 ppg) and 26th in points allowed (26.6 ppg). Green Bay has dropped two straight in losing to Seattle 27-24 two weeks ago and falling to Minnesota 24-17 this past weekend. The Packers have lost four of their last five games and are ranked 17th in scoring (24.0 ppg) and 16th in points allowed (24.3 ppg).

Prediction

I’m going to give you some simple advice and that’s to back Arizona to cover the chalk as a two-touchdown road dog in this matchup. The Cardinals have been stupendous in ranking fourth against the pass (219.8 ypg) and I believe they are going to make life difficult on Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay’s passing attack, particularly seeing as how the Packers don’t have a very potent rushing attack as well.

The Cardinals are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five games against their NFC counterparts and 14-5 ATS in their last 19 road games against a team with a losing home record while the Packers have gone 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss and an identical 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games against their NFC counterparts. Green bay wins, but Arizona covers.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Green Bay 31 Arizona 20

Carolina Panthers (6-5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7)

  • When: Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM ET
  • Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida
  • TV: FOX
  • NFL Week 13 Odds: Carolina -3.5 / Total: 56

Carolina has lost three straight and comes into this contest off a narrow 30-27 loss to Seattle on Sunday. The Panthers are ranked 10th in scoring (26.1 ppg) and 20th in points allowed (25.6 ppg), but they’ve given up 30 or more in two of their last three games while scoring 21 points or less in two contests.

Tampa Bay managed to halt a four-game losing streak by smacking San Francisco around 27-9 on Sunday to cover the chalk as a 1.5-point home favorite as Jameis Winston threw a pair of TD passes and no interceptions. The Buccaneers are ranked a solid ninth in scoring (26.7 ppg) but an awful 31st in points allowed (30.7 ppg).

Prediction

I’m going to get right to the point by saying that I love Carolina to win and cover the spread as a road favorite in this contest Carolina is better on both sides of the ball despite the fact that Tampa Bay has a really slight scoring edge in this matchup. The Panthers have a bunch of desperation to keep their still-legitimate playoff hopes alive and they’re going up against a division rival they know.

Carolina has gone 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following an SU loss while Tampa Bay has gone 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against their NFC counterparts. With Carolina going 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings against Tampa Bay, I say back the Panthers to win by at least a touchdown to cover the spread.

NFL Week 13 Pick: Carolina 35 Tampa Bay 24
