When you think of the NFL’s best receivers, you may not think of Minnesota’s Adam Thielen. You should. In Sunday’s upset win in Philadelphia, Thielen became only the third player in NFL history with at least 100 receiving yards in each of his team’s first five games to start a season. The record to start a season is seven. Here’s a look at the odds for every NFL Week 6 game. The Lions and Saints are on the bye.
2018 NFL Week 6 Odds Overview & Predictions for Each Game
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (+2.5)
Thursday night game. Might not even take a winning record to win the lousy NFC East this year. The Eagles have looked anything but super in the early going at 2-3. They were 23-21 home losers to the Vikings on Sunday. All last season, the Eagles lost just three games. The Giants simply aren’t very good but were a bit unlucky to lose 33-31 at Carolina on Sunday. Roll with the home side here.
Tampa Bay Bucs at Atlanta Falcons (-4)
Two really bad defensive teams here. Tampa comes off its bye and will return Jameis Winston to his starting role at quarterback. Not a big surprise that Ryan Fitzpatrick faded. The Falcons were torched Sunday in Pittsburgh, 41-17. Take Atlanta.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-3)
The Bengals are all alone in first place in the AFC North following their 27-17 comeback win over Miami on Sunday. Michael Johnson returned an interception for the tying score, and Sam Hubbard went 19 yards with a fumble for the clinching touchdown. The Steelers played their best game of the year in routing the Falcons. Go Cincinnati.
LA Chargers at Cleveland Browns (+1.5)
Break up the Browns! They already have two wins, which is double what they had the past two seasons combined. The beat the Ravens in overtime on Sunday and could be 5-0 instead of 2-2-1. The Chargers had little trouble in beating Oakland 26-10. Take Cleveland.
