Divisional Round: Saturday, January 20th – Sunday, January 21st, 2024

Baltimore Ravens over Houston Texans

SU Odds: Texans +325 / Ravens -450
Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 4:30 pm | ESPN, ABC. ESPN+
M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, MD

Really looking forward to seeing this game. This gets CJ STroud in the second round of the postseason. His postseason debut was outstanding for the Texans. But, now he gets Baltimore, and Baltimore on the road. Lamar Jackson is ready to make magic happen for this Baltimore squad. They are the #1 seed, and now with a win in this game, they are heading to the AFC title game. We expect the Ravens to get ahead in this game, and while the Texans may compete for a while, the Ravens are going to win this game. Baltimore tops Houston on Saturday.

San Francisco 49ers over Green Bay Packers

SU Odds: Packers +375 / 49ers -500
Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 8:15 pm | FOX
Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, CA

The 49ers got a week off, which came after a week off by sitting starters. Sounds like Kyle Shanahan’s team should be healthy and well rested for this game. They get the Green Bay Packers, who are coming in red hot. The Packers ran over the Dallas Cowboys last week, and much like CJ Stroud, Jordan Love’s first postseason start was fantastic. Look for the 49ers defense to have some things up their sleeve to slow Love and the Packers offense down. The 49ers win this game, and win it easily. Take the 49ers.

Detroit Lions over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

SU Odds: Buccaneers +210 / Lions -260
Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at 3:00 pm | NBC
Ford Field, Detroit, MI

The Lions get a second home game in the postseason. What a story for Dan Campbell and his squad. Jared Goff is much better at home than he is on the road, and now the Buccaneers are going to have to find a way to slow him down. If the pass game is not there, the run game can be strong for the Lions. We like Detroit to get the offense going again, and Tampa Bay struggles to keep pace. It was a nice Monday night win for the Buccaneers over the Eagles, but that’s enough. Take the Lions over the Buccaneers!

Buffalo Bills over Kansas City Chiefs

SU Odds: Bills -145 / Cheifs +125
Sunday, January 21st, 2024 at 6:30 pm | CBS
Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY

The Buffalo Bills took care of the Pittsburgh Steelers at home, and the Kansas City Chiefs knocked out Miami. Now the Chiefs have to go on the road to take on the Bills. No team is hotter than Josh Allen and his Buffalo Bills. Look for Allen to continue getting plays down, and Mahomes has not found enough help in his offense to keep pace in this game. The Buffalo Bills head to the AFC title game with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

2023 SU Picks For This Weekend’s NFL Games | Divisional Round Betting Lines and Predictions

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to Kansas City on Saturday to take on the Chiefs in this weekend’s first NFL Divisional Round game. The Chiefs, as you might expect, are a huge favorite on the moneyline. Then after Jags versus KC, the New York Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles for the third time this season. On Sunday, the early game pits the Bills against the Bengals and then in the later game, San Francisco hosts Dallas. Keep reading for NFL Playoffs Odds , analysis, and free SU picks for this weekend’s NFL Divisional Round matchups.

2023 NFL Divisional Round

When: Saturday, Jan. 21 – Sunday, Jan. 22

Jacksonville Jaguars +310 at Kansas City Chiefs -409 | Saturday, Jan. 21

After spotting the Los Angeles Chargers 27 points, the Jacksonville Jaguars stormed back in the second half and ended up beating the Bolts 33-32. The win was the third biggest comeback in NFL Playoff history.

On Saturday, Trevor Lawrence and his mates head to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. No doubt, the Jaguars will play with confidence. But Jacksonville’s roster isn’t as talented as Kansas City’s.

Not only that, but the Chiefs got it together in their final two regular season games, wins over rivals Denver and Las Vegas. This won’t be a blowout, but at the end KC wins.

NFL Divisional Round SU Pick: Kansas City Chiefs -409

New York Giants +280 at Philadelphia Eagles -370 | Saturday, Jan. 21

The Eagles swept the Giants in the two games during the regular season. However, Philadelphia did not play well in the second contest. Not only did Philly not play well, but NYG coach Brian Daboll sat quarterback Daniel Jones, running back Saquon Barkley, and some of his best defensive players.

This past weekend, the G-Men played a fantastic game when upsetting the Vikings in Minnesota. Daniel Jones was unreal. NYG’s QB rushed for 78 yards, threw for over 300, and tossed a couple of touchdown passes.

This will be Jalen Hurts’ second game since Dec. 18. Hurts didn’t look like himself in the week 18 contest versus the Giants. Jalen may not be one-hundred percent. Taking a shot on the G-Man to win this straight up makes sense.

NFL Divisional Round SU Pick: New York Giants +280

Cincinnati Bengals +181 at Buffalo Bills -226 | Sunday, Jan. 22

It’s tough to find fair odds on underdogs to win straight up. In this game, Cincinnati might offer overlay odds. The easy pick is to go with the Bills but that was before the Bengals upgraded offensive linemen Jonah Williams and Alex Cappa to questionable.

Quarterback Joe Burrow is playing better than Josh Allen and while Buffalo has injuries on defense, the Bengals’ D is good to go. Cincinnati can pull off the upset victory.

NFL Divisional Round SU Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +181

Dallas Cowboys +160 at San Francisco 49ers -198 | Sunday, Jan. 22

Dallas dominated Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in their first playoff game of the season. Things get much tougher on Sunday when the Boys take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Niners’ defense is much better than Tampa’s. Also, the Cowboys could tee off on Tom Brady because the Buccaneers don’t rush the ball well. SF is one of the top rushing teams in the league.

Brock Purdy has been playing like Tom Brady circa 2001. San Francisco wins.

NFL Divisional Round SU Pick: San Francisco 49ers -198

Divisional Round Straight-Up Picks for the 2021-22 Season | NFL Betting

It was an exciting weekend of football, but as we come out the other side, there was only really one surprise to speak of. That was the San Francisco 49ers going into Dallas and knocking off the Cowboys as an underdog. The rest of the Wild Card Weekend went to plan, with the favorites coming out on top in all the other games. This weekend, we have the Divisional Round, which means that the #1 seeds in both conferences will be coming out to play. Will we see another surprise or two this weekend, or will it be the favorites moving on again? Let’s make our picks for all 4 games so you can make your bets against the NFC Divisional odds and the AFC Divisional odds.

Tennessee Titans over Cincinnati Bengals

The long years of poor performances and little hope ended for the Cincinnati Bengals when they won the AFC North this season. It was a surprise to many, but perhaps even more surprising is that they carried that momentum over into the playoffs, taking care of the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card. Things get tougher now, though, as the Bengals need to hit the road to face the #1 seeded Tennessee Titans, who might just have Derrick Henry healthy and ready to go after being out since Week 8. The Bengals have had the best of this matchup, winning 6 of the last 10, but I think they come up short here.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers

Very often, we see a team get hot at the end of the season, after which they go on a deep run in the playoffs. The 49ers are looking to be that team this year. They closed out the regular season winning 4 of 5, a run that got them into the playoffs, and then followed that up with a win on the road in the Wild Card against the Dallas Cowboys. They look to be up against it this weekend, though, as the Packers are a very different proposition. Their record against the 49ers speaks for itself, winning 9 of the last 11 meetings at Lambeau Field.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers over LA Rams

There are going to be some who see this matchup as being a little unfair. After all, we don’t usually see a Monday night game in the playoffs, but that is what the Rams had to do, beating Arizona on Monday before heading into the Divisional Round on a short week. With that win, the Rams have now won 6 of their last 7 games, but they will be facing a team that has won 4 in a row and 8 of the last 9. The Buccaneers barely broke a sweat in taking out the Eagles, and while this will be tougher, I think they win this one, too.

Kansas City Chiefs over Buffalo Bills

This is arguably the best of the 4 games on the Divisional Round schedule and certainly the toughest of the 4 to pick. The Kansas City Chiefs had their struggles early in the season, but they are now showing the type of form that has taken them to the last 2 Super Bowls. The Bills have been a little up and down all season long, but their performance against the Patriots last weekend suggests that they are more than up for a run at the Super Bowl. A close one here, but I think the Chiefs edge it.

2020 NFL Divisional Round SU Betting Picks

After a crazy Wild Card Weekend, we are now down to just 8 teams with a shot at winning the Super Bowl, which mean that it is time for the NFL Divisional Round. There were some surprises last weekend, so the matchups that we are getting this week are not what most of us expected. Is this going to be the year of the underdog, or will we see the top seeds flex their muscles and move on? We are going to cover all the NFL betting bases for the 2020 Divisional Round, starting here with our SU picks for the coming weekend. We will also have ATS and O/U picks coming your way.

San Francisco 49ers over Minnesota Vikings

Prior to last weekend, the talk was that the Vikings might be ready to move on from QB Kirk Cousins if they went out of the playoffs early. That discussion has since been shelved, perhaps permanently, after Cousins helped the Vikings beat the Saints in New Orleans in OT.

Next up is a road trip to San Francisco, where Minnesota has just 1 win in their last 10 visits. It’s not a happy hunting ground for the Vikings, and while I think we are potentially looking at a close one, I think it will be the 49ers who come out on top.

2020 Divisional Round Betting Trends

  • Vikings are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games against San Francisco
  • 49ers are 5-2 SU in their last 7 games this season

Baltimore Ravens over Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans win in the Wild Card Game is a tough one to figure out. Are they a legitimate Super Bowl contender, or where they catching the New England Patriots at a time when it looks as though that dynasty might be crumbling?

If they can go on the road and make things tough for the Baltimore Ravens this weekend, the we need to sit up and pay attention to this team, but I am not so sure they can do enough to derail what looks to be a very strong Baltimore team. The Titans might cover here, but I do not see them getting the win.

2020 Divisional Round Betting Trends

  • Titans are 5-2 SU in their last 7 games against an opponent in the AFC North division
  • Ravens are 6-0 SU in their last 6 games at home

Kansas City Chiefs over Houston Texans

The playoffs tend to be a very different beast than the regular season, but does that mean that we should ignore everything that happened during the 17 weeks of the regular season? If that is the case, then you need to forget that the Houston Texans went into Kansas City and picked up a win against the Chiefs earlier this season.

The Chiefs have improved a lot since then, though, especially on the defensive side of the football, plus they are always tough to beat at Arrowhead. I see a tight one here, but I am taking the Chiefs to move on.

2020 Divisional Round Betting Trends

  • Texans are 9-4 SU in their last 13 games this season
  • Chiefs are 5-0 SU in their last 5 games played on a Sunday

Seattle Seahawks over Green Bay Packers

My goal was to pick at least one underdog to win in the Divisional Round, which is what I am going to do with this pick. We were all perhaps a little too quick to write off the Seattle Seahawks heading into the postseason.

After all, their injury list reads like a who’s who of stating talent, yet they were able to battle through that and get a win in Philadelphia last weekend. I just have a strange hunch that this team is on the brink of something special, so I am taking Seattle in the upset win in the Divisional Round.

2020 Divisional Round Betting Trends

  • Seahawks are 8-1 SU in their last 9 games on the road
  • Packers are 6-1 SU in their last 7 games this season
