2019 NFL Week 15 ATS Betting Picks

Written by on December 9, 2019

After the events of Week 14 in the NFL, it is becoming increasingly clear that the battle to become the Super Bowl champion is absolutely wide-open. This season has been a fantastic one for fans, but it has been a little tougher on bettors, as we are consistently seeing surprise results week after week, with the top teams all beginning to bunch together.

This is shaping up to be the best playoffs that we have had in a while, but there is 3 more weeks of football to be played before we find out who faces who in the postseason. We are going to look ahead to Week 15 NFL Betting action to see if we can come up with some winners, starting with our picks against the spread.

2019 NFL Week 15 ATS Betting Picks

New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens (-14 ½)

When talking about who might win the Super Bowl this season, you need to have the Baltimore Ravens as part of the conversation. They have now reeled off 9 straight wins and will go into the Thursday night game against the New York Jets as an overwhelming favorite.

Not only have the Ravens been winning, they have been doing a great job of covering the spread, going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games. Versus the Ravens, the New York Jets have gone just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 meetings. They are also 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in the month of December.

NFL Week 15 Betting Trends

  • Jets are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in December
  • Ravens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC conference

Jacksonville Jaguars at Oakland Raiders in NFL Week 15 (-6)

We are beginning to see teams clinch their spots in the postseason after Week 14, which means that we are also seeing some playoff dreams come to an end. The Jacksonville Jaguars season has basically been over for weeks, and while the Raiders are still mathematically alive, they are all but done, too after losing their last 3 games.

Jacksonville has failed to cover in each of their last 5, while the Raiders have not covered in 4. Something has to give here, though, so I am taking the Raiders to win and cover at on home field.

NFL Week 15 Betting Trends

  • Jaguars are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against an opponent in the AFC conference
  • Raiders are 2-4 ATS in their last 6 games this season

New England Patriots (-9 ½) at Cincinnati Bengals

After a home loss at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14, there are now some legitimate concerns in New England about the state of the Patriots. This, though, is still a team that has double-digit wins on the season, so perhaps we are all a little too quick to judge.

The Pats are huge favorites for NFL Week 15.

One of the easiest ways to get back on track is with a big win over a struggling team, which is what we might well see this week when the Patriots hit the road to face the 1-win Bengals. Cincinnati are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 home games versus the Patriots, but I think that record gets a little worse this weekend.

NFL Week 15 Betting Trends

  • Patriots are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against Cincinnati
  • Bengals are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games played in December

Denver Broncos (+10) at Kansas City Chiefs in NFL Week 15

The Broncos spent a ton of money to go out and get Joe Flacco in the offseason in an attempt to solve their QB issues, but the problem may actually have been solved with the drafting of Drew Lock. The rookie got the start in Week 14 and very much looked the part in a big 38-24 win over the Houston Texans.

The Broncos will have another tough one this weekend, but they have been a great bet on the road against the AFC West champs, going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games one the road versus the Chiefs.

NFL Week 15 Betting Trends

  • Broncos are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games on the road
  • Chiefs are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games when playing at home against Denver
