2019 NFL Week 6 SU Betting Picks

Written by on October 7, 2019

Week 5 of the NFL season will come to a close on Monday night, with the Cleveland Browns going out on the road to face the unbeaten san Francisco 49ers. If the Browns can play the way they have when they have won this season, we could be in for a bit of a treat with this one. While we wait for the primetime game to hit the air, we can look ahead to NFL Week 6 and the picks that look good for next week.

As we do every single Monday of the NFL regular season, we will be delivering a bunch of picks for you guts. We are looking at NFL betting SU picks in this piece but be sure to keep an eye out for out ATS and O/U selections, too.

2019 NFL Week 6 SU Betting Picks

Carolina Panthers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers in NFL Week 6

It’s still early in the season, but this is already a huge divisional game for these two, especially when you consider that the New Orleans Saints have jumped out to a 4-1 start.

With Cam Newton out, the Panthers have rallied around backup QB Kyle Allen and are now coming into this one on a 3-game winning streak after dropping their opening 2 games of the season.

While Carolina has struggled in conference play of late, that has not been the case versus the Bucs, where they have gone 9-4 SU in their last 13.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Panthers are 4-9 SU in their last 13 games
  • Panthers are 4-9 SU in their last 13 games on the road
  • Buccaneers are 2-7 SU in their last 9 games
  • Buccaneers are 2-6 SU in their last 8 games against an opponent in the NFC conference

Seattle Seahawks over Cleveland Browns

It’s usually not a great idea to start picking against a team before they play their Monday night game, but that is exactly what I am doing here.

The Seattle Seahawks are quietly starting to look like a serious contender, while QB Russell Wilson is already having MVP votes cast in his direction.

The 4-1 Seattle Seahawks will get a little extra rest after beating the Rams on Thursday night in Week 5, while the Browns will be on a short week. That all adds up to a Seattle win.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Browns are 1-15 SU in their last 16 games played in October
  • Seahawks are 9-3 SU in their last 12 games

Washington Redskins over Miami Dolphins

If you had to pick the worst team in the NFL through the opening 5 weeks of the season, you would probably see an awful lot of votes for these two teams.

Both teams are off to winless starts this year, but the biggest damage may be in Washington, where Jay Gruden was relieved of his coaching duties after seeing his team getting hammered by the Patriots.

The Dolphins could grab their first W of the season in NFL Week 6.

It’s amazing hoe often we see a team get a little lift the week after a coach is fired, which is why I am on the Redskins to get the win in this one.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Redskins are 0-7 SU in their last 7 games
  • Redskins are 4-8 SU in their last 12 games against Miami
  • Dolphins are 0-7 SU in their last 7 games
  • Dolphins are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games played in week 6

Denver Broncos over Tennessee Titans in NFL Week 6

The Broncos finally broke their goose egg with a win over the LA Chargers in Week 5, but they are still underwhelming at 1-4 this season.

It’s tough to know what to expect from the Titans on any given Sunday this season, as they have gone from looking great one week to abysmal the next, with the latter term most likely to be applied to their 14-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday.

The thing that stands out here is that the Titans have failed to win in each of their last 5 visits to Mile High, which makes the Broncos look like a good bet here.

NFL Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Titans are 2-4 SU in their last 6 games
  • Titans are 3-6 SU in their last 9 games against Denver.
  • Broncos are 1-8 SU in their last 9 games
  • Broncos are 5-0 SU in their last 5 games when playing at home against Tennessee
