Why Kansas City Chiefs are a good bet -8?
Kansas City picked up where they left off. The Chiefs were a Tom Brady overtime touchdown drive away from making the Super Bowl last season. They dominated the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 40-26. Patrick Mahomes, the reigning MVP, threw for 378 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Newly signed running back LeSean McCoy rushed for 81 yards on 10 carries. The Chiefs should have no trouble motoring along in Week 2 versus a team that they’re just better than.

Why Oakland Raiders are a good bet +8?
Considering the Raiders offseason, which included the Antonio Brown drama, you’d think they’d fold in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos. Not so. The Broncos entered the game the favorites. The home team dogs beat Denver 24-16. It was a workmanlike victory, one that should have put a big smile over every Raider fan’s face. The Raiders used a balanced attack, 98 rushing yards and 259 passing yards, to control the flow of the game. If they can do that on Sunday, they’ll keep the battle with KC closer than the spread.

Chiefs vs Raiders Final NFL Betting Analysis
KC overwhelms their opponents. What’s scary is that the Chiefs didn’t use many of their available weapons. Damien Williams only rushed for 26 yards. Travis Kelce only caught 3-of-8. Mahomes only threw the football to McCoy once.
When Kansas City gets everyone involved, there are few teams that can beat them. The key for Oakland will be to manage the clock, though. That’s where this gets interesting. Kansas City should cover the spread, but the Raiders are different this season than last season.
Jon Gruden finally has the group of players he wants. Oakland played with more calm then, well, since Gruden’s first stint as head coach back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. The Raiders are a decent football team playing at home. They’ll do just enough to keep this one within the betting line.
