Cincinnati Bengals 2018 NFL Win/Loss Odds Prediction

Written by on July 13, 2018

The Cincinnati Bengals may be coming off of what looks like an underachieving 7-9 campaign from a year ago, but the AFC North residents will enter 2018 with some positive vibes after closing their 2017 campaign on a high note. Not only did the Bengals keep the Baltimore Ravens from reaching the postseason by beating their division rivals on the road in their regular season finale, but they also retained longtime head coach Marvin Lewis after initially agreeing to part ways earlier in the season. Now, if you’re looking to make a potentially winning wager on Cincinnati’s 2018 regular season win total odds, you could cash in big because of the expert betting analysis that you’re about to get.

Cincinnati Bengals 2018 NFL Win/Loss Odds Prediction

  • Cincinnati Bengals Win Total Odds – 6.5

Week 1 at Indianapolis

Andrew Luck may or may not be ready to go for Indianapolis in Week 1 after missing the entire 2017 season, but either way, the Bengals are the pick to get the win over a Colts team that I’m expecting to be pretty awful defensively this coming season. Despite being on the road, Cincy wins in Week 1. Win. 1-0.

Week 2 vs Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals stunned the Ravens in their Week 17 regular season finale to beat Baltimore 31-27 and keep the Ravens out of the playoffs and I like the Bengals to get the home win in Week 2 against their longtime division rivals in this one! Win. 2-0.

Week 3 at Carolina Panthers

Carolina has gone 18-5 in their last 23 home games that Cam Newton has started. The Panthers hold it down in this one! Loss. 2-1.

Week 4 at Atlanta Falcons

The Bengals lose in consecutive weeks against a pair of double-digit winning NFC South Super Bowl title contenders. Loss. 2-2.

Week 5 vs Miami Dolphins

Make no mistake about it, this Week 5 matchup is a virtual lock of a win for Cincy. 2-3.

Week 6 vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Cincinnati hasn’t beaten Pittsburgh since Nov. 1, 2015, but I like that streak to come to an abrupt halt in this Week 6 matchup against their AFC North division rivals. Win. 3-3.

Week 7 at Kansas City Chiefs

I’m thinking this Week 7 AFC showdown is going to be a thriller, but I’m going with the Chiefs for the narrow win at always difficult Arrowhead Stadium. Win. 4-3.

Week 8 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Repeat after me. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a mistake by bringing back head coach Dirk Koetter. Win. 5-3.

Week 9: BYE

Week 10 vs New Orleans

The Bengals won’t will all of their home games and will fall to Drew Brees and the explosive Saints in this one! Loss. 5-4.

Week 11 at Baltimore

The Bengals fall in Baltimore as part of a regular season split against the division rival Ravens. Loss. 5-5.

Week 12 vs Cleveland

I’m feeling a split coming in 2018 against what I believe will be a much-improved Cleveland Browns team. Win. 6-5.

Week 13 vs Denver

The Broncos signed veteran quarterback Case Keenum to solve their ongoing issues under center, but I’m thinking the loss off defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is still going to plague them this coming season. Win. 7-5.

Week 14 at Los Angeles Chargers

The Bengals are going down to a Chargers team with legitimate playoff hopes in their first road trip to the west coast in three years. Loss. 7-6.

Week 15 vs Oakland

I’m expecting the Raiders to be better in 2018 under head coach Jon Gruden, but I’ve got them losing this Week 15 road date in a shootout. Win. 8-6.

Week 16 at Cleveland

The Bengals haven’t lost to the Browns since 2014, but that streak is coming to an end in this Week 16 matchup against the improved Browns. Loss. 8-7.

Week 17 at Pittsburgh

The Steelers are 12-2 in home games in December since 2013 and they’ll want to get the win in this regular season finale against their division rivals. Loss. 8-8. I have absolutely no idea why Cincinnati’s win total odds are so low, but I think it’s a virtual lock that Cincy tops its win total odds in 2018. Play the Over for the easy payday.
