The Cleveland Browns have a new head coach in widely-respected NFL lifer Hue Jackson and a new starting quarterback in the athletically-gifted Robert Griffin III. After recording another losing season in 2015, the Browns say they are committed to putting a winning product on the field under Jackson’s direction moving forward.

Now, let’s find out how the Browns will fare in 2016. Get the latest NFL spread here.

Can RG3 and Hue Jackson Lift Cleveland Browns To New Heights in 2016?

2016 Regular Season Win Total Odds

Over/Under 4.5 Wins

Analysis: The Cleveland Browns won’t win many road games in 2016, but I do think they’ll beat Philly and Washington while bagging home wins against Baltimore, Dallas, Pittsburgh, the New York Giants and underachieving Chargers to finish with a surprising seven wins. Bank on Cleveland to win at least a half-dozen games in 2016 and easily top their win total odds.

AFC North Division Odds

Analysis: I love Hue Jackson and I believe RG3 is primed for a bounce-back campaign after being discarded in Washington, but there’s no way in hell the Browns beat out either Cincinnati or Pittsburgh for the AFC North division title!

AFC Championship Odds

Analysis: Okay, there’s only one way the Browns win the AFC Championship in 2016 and that’s if, New England, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati decide to forfeit all of their games and fringe title contenders like the Texans, Chiefs and Jets all lose their respective starting quarterbacks.

Super Bowl 51 Odds

Analysis: There’s no way the Browns reach and win Super Bowl 51 unless some genius scientist figures out how to reverse the aging process and Jim Brown, Bernie Kosar and every other Browns great whose names I suddenly can’t remember, comes out of retirement to suit up for Cleveland in 2016!
