The Dallas Cowboys will be looking to get back to being a double-digit winner in 2018 after taking a step backwards last season from their 12-win campaign in 2016. Barring injury, the Boys will have star running back Ezekiel Elliott on the field for the entire season after the former Ohio State star was forced to miss six games last season as part of a league-mandated suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Now, if you like making season-long props odds wagers, you’re going to have a great chance to cash in on Dallas’ 2018 regular season win total odds. Better yet, thanks to the expert NFL betting analysis and prediction that you’re about to get, you’re going to have an excellent idea of just how many games the Cowboys are going to win this coming season. - Dallas Cowboys Win Total Odds – 8
Week 1 at Carolina Panthers
The Cowboys are going down in their regular season opener against a Carolina Panthers team that went 11-5 last season and enters 2018 looking like another double-digit winner just waiting to happen. Loss. 0-1.
Week 2 vs New York Giants
The Boys will get the big home win in their Week 2 Sunday night showdown against a Giants team I expect to be better later in the season as opposed to early on. Win. 1-1.
Week 3 at Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks may no longer be a perennial Super Bowl contender, but they’ve got a huge edge at head coach and will have the best player on the field in perennial MVP candidate Russell Wilson. Loss. 1-2.
Week 4 vs Detroit Lions
The Lions have a first-time head coach in Matt Patricia and I suspect they’ll struggle to form their new identity early on. I’m thinking Ezekiel Elliott has a huge game in this one! Win. 2-2.
Week 5 at Houston Texans
I like Dak Prescott a lot but I don’t like him as much as I like Houston’s often mesmerizing Deshaun Watson. I’m expecting the Houston Texans to be the best team in the state of Texas in 2018. Loss. 2-3.
Week 6 vs Jacksonville Jaguars
I know the Cowboys won just one fewer game than the Jaguars last season, but you’d never know it the way these two teams looked last season. Jacksonville played some smash-mouth football to reach the AFC Championship while Dallas underachieved and generally couldn’t stop running water defensively. The Jags win this Inter-Conference clash despite being on the road! Loss. 2-4.
Week 7 at Washington Redskins
Believe it or not, Dallas has won five straight in the nation’s capitol, but I’m thinking it’s high time that streak came to an abrupt halt! Veteran quarterback Alex Smith finds a way to lead the Skins to the narrow home win in this NFC East divisional showdown. Loss. 2-5.
Week 8: Bye
Week 9 vs Tennessee Titans
The Titans made the playoffs last season but parted ways with Mike Mularkey in favor of first-time head coach Mike Vrabel. Now, I think they could pay for that decision, even if I wasn’t exactly in love with Mularkey. Win. 3-5.
Week 10 at Philadelphia Eagles
The Cowboys beat the Eagles 6-0 in Philly in what was essentially a meaningless game for the Birds. Now, the defending Super Bowl champs will want some revenge and I like them to get it in a big way! Loss. 3-6.
Week 11 at Atlanta Falcons
The Cowboys will be looking for revenge for their embarassing Week 10 loss at Atlanta last season in which Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn recorded six sacks, but the Boys won’t get it against an Atlanta team that is superior to they are in every phase. Loss. 3-7.
Week 12 vs Washington Redskins
Prescott and Elliott will star in this one as the Cowboys will extract some revenge in this contest against a Redskins team I think will be the definition of mediocre in 2018. Win. 4-7.
Week 13 vs New Orleans Saints
Future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees will gave his way in this contest against a Cowboys pass defense that I think won’t be anything special this coming season. 4-8
Week 14 vs Philadelphia
The Cowboys will have 10 days to get ready for this game following their Thursday night contest in Week 13, but it won’t matter seeing as how the Birds and now the far better team in all three phases of the game. Break out the brooms, Philly get5s the regular season sweep in this one. Loss. 4-9.
Week 15 at Indianapolis
Despite being on the road, I like Dallas to get the big win in Week 15 against a Colts defense that won’t have a chance at shutting down Ezekiel Elliott. Win. 5-9.
Week 16 vs Tampa Bay
The Buccaneers were a mess a year ago under lame duck head coach Dirk Koetter and they won’t be much better in 2018. Hell, who knows is Koetter will still be leading the Bucs by the time this Week 16 matchup rolls around. Win. 6-9.
Week 17 at New York Giants
The Cowboys will need a win in this contest if they want to have any shot at making the playoffs (not gonna’ happen), but I’m going with Eli manning and Saquon Barkley to lead the way to victory in this one! Loss. 6-10.
The Cowboys have what looks like a manageable win total odds number of eight in 2018, but I don’t see them reaching nine wins to top it. Dallas still has issues to address on the defensive side of the ball, not to mention their passing game could struggle and I’m not very fond of head coach Jason Garrett. Play the Under people!
