Green Bay Packers 2018 NFL Betting Guide

Green Bay Packers 2018 NFL Betting Guide

Eric Williams : Tuesday,July 3, 2018 2:03, EDT

The Green Bay Packers may have limped to what looks like an uninspiring 7-9 record a year ago, but the fact of the matter is that the Pack played to their full potential last season seeing as how all-world quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed nine games a year ago before attempting a late comeback that eventually proved too little too late.

Now, as Green Bay gets set for the upcoming 2018 campaign the Packers are looking to get back to being a playoff participant and hopefully, a legitimate Super Bowl contender. While I don’t see Rodgers and company as being among the most  elite teams in the NFC this coming season, the Packers do have a chance of winning a bunch of games if only because they have the incomparable Rodgers on their sideline.

No matter how many games the Packers win this coming season, there are a bunch of games on their 2018 docket that NFL betting enthusiasts just shouldn’t miss out on betting on this coming season. If you’re looking for NFL betting value on Green Bay this coming season, then look no further. I’ve got you covered.

Green Bay Packers 2018 NFL Betting Guide

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 9 vs. Chicago Bears, 8:20 p.m. ET

Green Bay may not be in the same caliber of Super Bowl contenders as Philadelphia, the L.A. Rams or New Orleans Saints in 2018, but they’re the super easy pick to beat the rebuilding Chicago bears in their regular season matchup against their longtime NFC North divisional rivals.

NFL Betting Pick: Packers 31 Bears 21

Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 16 vs. Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET

Rodgers would like nothing better than to hand the division rival Vikings a big-time loss in Week 2 at home, but I’m thinking Minnesota’s defense is just too good for Green bay to get past and that their offense will be even better than it was a year ago because of the arrival of Kirk Cousins. I smell a home loss for Green Bay in this one!

NFL Betting Pick: Vikings 24 Packers 21

Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30 vs. Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m. ET

If you’re looking for an easy win and ATS cover on Green Bay’s 2018 schedule, then this Week 4 matchup is a great contest for you to wager on. The Packers should have an easy time against a Bills team that will be going with, either unproven veteran A.J. McCarron or equally unproven second-year signal-caller Nathan Peterman.

NFL Betting Pick: Packers 31 Bills 17

Week 6: Monday, Oct. 15 vs. San Francisco 49ers, 7:15 p.m. ET

The 49ers have some high hopes because of new starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, but Jimmy G is no Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ future Hall of Famer will have his way against a Frisco defense that has its shortcomings.

NFL Betting Pick: Packers 28 Niners 21

Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 28 at Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET

Aaron Rodgers might be the best quarterback on the field in this Week 8 battle, but the Packers are now, clearly the lesser team. Green Bay loses on the road to a Rams team with some seriously legitimate Super Bowl hopes!

NFL Betting Pick: Rams 30 Packers 20

Are the Packers a safe bet for the 2018 NFL season?

Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 4 at New England Patriots, 8:20 p.m. ET

Green Bay will suffer back-to-back losses as they travel from one coast to another against a pair of Super Bowl hopefuls that are simply better than they are on both sides of the ball. I suspect Tom Brady will devour Green Bay’s unprove seconday like a Thanksgiving Day turkey in this one!

NFL Betting Pick: Patriots 31 Packers 21

Week 11: Thursday, Nov. 15 at Seattle Seahawks, 8:20 p.m. ET

Seattle may not be the same team that was a perennial Super Bowl favorite, but the Seahawks are still pretty good and seriously difficult to beat at home. The Seahawks are the pick here to eke out a narrow win. Led by their own Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson.

NFL Betting Pick: Seahawks 28 Packers 27

Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 25 at Minnesota Vikings, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Packers haven’t won in Minneapolis since U.S. Bank Stadium opened in 2016 and they aren’t going to win this Week 12 matchup against a Vikings team that has clearly surpassed them as the cream of the crop in the NFC North!

NFL Betting Pick: Vikings 27 Packers 20
