How Many Games Will The Cleveland Browns Win In 2017?
The Cleveland Browns were a complete mess in 2016 in head coach Hue Jackson’s first season at the helm but managed to avoid going winless in the regular season by beating the dysfunctional San Diego Chargers in Week 16.
If you want to bet on many wins the Browns are likely to record in 2017, then you should take a look at the NFL props we put together for the next season.
A Closer Look At How Many Games Will The Cleveland Browns Win In 2017?
HOW MANY GAMES WILL BROWNS WIN REG SEASON 2017-18
Browns 0 Wins: +300
Browns 1 Win: +150
Browns 2 Wins: +250
Browns 3 Wins: +400
Browns 4 Wins: +700
Browns 5 or More Wins: +900
Now, you should know that Cleveland Browns has won just 48 games over the past decade – or an average of just 4.8 wins per season. Heading into the 2016 regular season, I thought it was quite possible that the Browns could challenge for six or seven wins, but clearly, I was way off base.
Now, with a team that has serious issues at quarterback and basically every other position on both sides of the ball, I’m thinking it’s going to be a real stretch for Jackson’s Browns to record more than five wins at best next season. Cleveland has some serious issues at quarterback where Robert Griffin III, rookie Cody Kessler and veteran Josh McCown all started at least one game while looking mediocre at best.
The Browns ranked 30th in total defense, 28th in passing, 19th in rushing and a pitiful 31st in scoring (16.5 ppg). Defensively, Cleveland finished the regular season ranked 31st in points allowed, 21st against the pass, 31st against the run and 30th in points allowed (28.2 ppg).
Right now, no one knows who’s going to be the starting quarterback next season and the Browns really need to hit a few home runs in the draft and via free agency if they want to improve in a big way.
