LA Rams at San Francisco 49ers
When: Thursday, Sept. 21, 8:25 PM ET Where: Levi’s Stadium TV: NFL Network Radio: ESPNLA 710AM (LA) / KSAN 107.7 FM (San Francisco) Stream Option: NFL Live NFL Week 3 Odds: TBA When I said must-bet games, I didn’t mean that these were going to be pleasant to watch but instead good betting value. However, keep that in mind because this could be painful to watch from an offensive perspective as both teams stunk last year. The Rams’ starting quarterback is of course Jared Goff, and the former No. 1 overall pick looked lost when he finally landed in the starting lineup late last season. Trying to improve his performance is the reason the Rams hired new head coach Sean McVay, the former Redskins offensive coordinator. LA still has an awful group of receivers and a very shaky offensive line but at least as a good running back in Todd Gurley. How Are the 49ers Looking Like For This Season?
You probably need to be a devout 49ers fan to name even five guys on the entire team. Of course they have a new head coach too, former Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Journeyman Brian Hoyer will be the starting quarterback. The 49ers won just two games last year. They were both against the Rams. It was 28-0 at home in Week 1 – that was Blaine Gabbert vs. Case Keenum – and 22-21 in L.A. in Week 16 last year. That was Colin Kaepernick vs. Goff. Kaepernick threw a 10-yard touchdown pass with 31 seconds remaining and scrambled for a 2-point conversion.Latest NFL Betting Trends

Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars
When: Sunday, Sept. 24, 9:30 AM Where: Wembley Stadium London TV: Only local Radio: WBAL News Radio 1090 (Baltimore) / 1010 XL 92.5 FM (Jacksonville) Stream Option: Verizon NFL Week 3 Odds: TBA It’s the first London game of the 2017 season and who doesn’t love those 9:30 AM ET kickoffs? It means you can bet football from breakfast until about midnight. This game will only be televised in local markets but will be streamed by Verizon. It paid $21 million for the rights. Verizon will stream the game on its AOL platform. Jacksonville is essentially London’s team as they play one home game there every year now. Many believe Shahid Khan wants to move the team there eventually as he already owns an English Premier League squad. The Jaguars are committed to play a home game per year at Wembley through 2020. The NFL Week 3 matchup marks the earliest the earliest London date for the Jaguars. They played San Francisco in London in Week 8 in 2013, then played Dallas there in Week 9 of 2014, Buffalo there in Week 7 in 2015 and Indianapolis there in Week 4 this past season. Jags’ are 2-2 playing in Wembley, losing to the 49ers 42-10 and the Cowboys 31-17 and beating Buffalo 34-31 and Indianapolis 30-27.Latest NFL Betting Trends

Houston Texans at New England Patriots
When: Sunday, Sept. 24, 1 PM ET Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro TV: CBS Radio: KILT-FM 100.3 FM (Houston) / 98.5 The Sports Hub (New England) Stream Option: CBSSports.com NFL Week 3 Odds: TBA We’ll be having playoff rematch between these two division winners from last year. In the AFC Divisional Round, Houston lost 34-16 at New England. Dion Lewis had a 13-yard touchdown reception, a 98-yard kickoff return for a score, and a late 1-yard touchdown for the Pats. Lewis became the fifth Patriots player to score three touchdowns in a playoff game. He was the first player in the Super Bowl era to score on a rush, a catch and a kick return in a postseason game. He might not even make the Opening Day roster in 2017. Hence that’s how good New England is.Who Will Be the QB for the Texans?
Houston’s Brock Osweiler was terrible as he was all season, going 23-for- 40 for 197 yards, one TD and three picks. Therefore proving to be Osweiler’s final game in a Houston uniform as he was traded to Cleveland in a salary dump this offseason. Presumably it will be Tom Savage starting here, although I still think rookie Deshaun Watson can beat him out in camp.Latest NFL Betting Trends
