2017 NFL Los Angeles Rams Win-Loss Predictions

Written by on June 27, 2017

After years of playing mediocre football under former head coach Jeff Fisher. The rebuilding Los Angeles Rams have some new hopes as they get set for their first season under the league’s youngest head coach ever. If you’re looking to find out just how many games the Rams will win under new coach Scott McVay and quarterback Jared Goff, the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft, then you’re going to enjoy the fun-filled, yet, expert betting analysis that you’re about to get on every game on L.A.’s 2017 schedule.

2017 NFL Los Angeles Rams Win-Loss Predictions

Los Angeles Rams Win Total 5.5

Week 1

Colts (-3) at Rams The Indianapolis Colts may not be Super Bowl worthy heading into the 2017 season, but Andrew Luck and company are still light years ahead of the Rams and will get the win in L.A. in Week 1.

Week 2

Redskins (-2) at Rams I could just copy and paste the previous sentence about the Colts and slip it in here. The Redskins win in L.A. in Week 2.

Week 3 (Thursday)

Rams at 49ers (-1.5) The Rams had twice as many wins as the Niners a year ago, but Frisco is the pick to win at home in this Week 4 NFC West divisional showdown.

Week 4

Rams at Cowboys (-12.5) Jared Goff and the Rams have absolutely no chance of pulling off the road upset over the Cowboys at Jerry’s World.

Week 5

Seahawks (-6) at Rams Ho-hum, the Rams lose again, this time to Seattle as part of a regular season sweep no less.

Week 6

Rams at Jaguars (-3.5) The Rams will have a comparable opponent in this contest, but I still don’t see them beating a Jaguars team that is far closer to distancing themselves from their former foolishness than the Rams.

Week 7

Cardinals (-3) at Rams Carson Palmer, David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald will all have a field day in this Week 7 NFC West divisional matchup.

Week 8

BYE

Week 9

Rams at Giants (-8.5) There’s absolutely no way the Rams go into the Big Apple and put enough points on the board against the Giants’ stingy defense to make a road win stand up.

Week 10

Texans (-3) at Rams Houston’s powerful defense will likely have Jared Goff shaking in his cleats by halftime.

Week 11

Rams at Vikings (-7.5) The Vikings struggled to score the ball last season, but they made some nice offseason additions and still have an elite defense that makes them the easy pick to win at home in Week 11.

Week 12

Saints (-2) at Rams The good thing about this Week 12 matchup is that Drew Brees can teach Jared Goff a thing or three as he shreds the Rams defense.

Week 13

Rams at Cardinals (-8.5) The Cardinals will get the easy home win in Week 13 by simply outscoring the defensively-challenged Rams.

Week 14

Eagles (-1.5) at Rams The Rams blew it a year ago by drafting Goff ahead of the clearly better Carson Went, which is why they’ll lose this Week 14 NFC battle even at home.

Week 15

Rams at Seahawks (-13.5) If the Seahawks don’t cover the nearly two-touchdown spread, I’ll be stunned.

Week 16

Rams at Titans (-7) Marcus Mariota and the blossoming Tennessee Titans are the easy pick to beat the Rams in something of a shootout.

Week 17

49ers at Rams The Rams are looking at a solid home against the Niners win in their regular season finale as they both, get some revenge and avoid the regular season sweep. While I’ve got the Rams winning just one game, mostly because of their difficult schedule in 2017, I think the more likely scenario is that they record four wins at most to tie their mark from last season. Still, there’s no way I see the Rams reaching six wins to top their 2017 regular season win total odds.
