2017 NFL Win-Loss Predictions For Arizona Cardinals

Posted by Eric Williams on Tuesday,June 27, 2017 2:45, EDT in

The Arizona Cardinals may have seen their three-year run of recording double-digit victories come to an abrupt halt last season, but Carson Palmer and company have plenty of hopes of getting back in the playoff mix in 2017 after addressing their needs  this offseason.

If you’re looking to find out just how many games the Cardinals will win this coming season and whether you should bet the Over or Under against their season-long win total odds, then you’ve come to the right place! Let’s find out now what’s going to go down for Bruce Arians’ squad in 2017.

2017 NFL Win-Loss Predictions For Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals Win Total 8

Week 1

Cardinals at Lions (-3)

The Cardinals may be on the road in this regular season opener, but I’m thinking that Arizona’s superior defense and a healthy dose of David Johnson will be enough to help the get the road win in Week 1.

Week 2

Cardinals at Colts (-3)

After winning their opener on the road, the Cardinals get to eat a bit of humble pie in Week 2, although I don’t necessarily believe Indianapolis will be a better team than Arizona this coming season.

Week 3 (Monday)

Cowboys (-2) at Cardinals

The Cowboys may have gone 13-3 last season and they may have two of the best young players in the league in running back Ezekiel Elliott and quarterback Dak Prescott, but Arizona has the superior defense and is playing at home which is why the Cards are the pick to win this Monday Night Football NFC battle in Week 3.

Week 4

49ers at Cardinals (-9)

If Carson Palmer and company don’t have this game well in hand before halftime, I’ll be completely stunned. The Cards roll in this divisional battle.

Week 5

Cardinals at Eagles (-2)

The Eagles have a talented young signal-caller in Carson Wentz and they’re playing at home, but I like the more mature Cardinals to get the narrow road win in the City of Brotherly Love.

Week 6

Buccaneers at Cardinals (-3)

This matchup against the blossoming Buccaneers will be a real test for Arizona and I’m thinking Tampa Bay is good for the road upset in this one!

Week 7

Cardinals (-3) at Rams

How do you spell blowout? Arizona will take this Week 7 NFC West divisional matchup as part of their season sweep of Los Angeles.

Week 8

BYE

Week 9

Cardinals (-3.5) at 49ers

Speaking of regular season sweeps, this matchup will complete Arizona’s sweep of San Francisco.

Week 10 (Thursday)

Seahawks (-1.5) at Cardinals

While I like Seattle to win the NFC West in 2017, I like the Cardinals to get the home win in this Week 10 pairing as part of a split against Russell Wilson and company.

Week 11

Cardinals at Texans (-2.5)

The Cardinals will put up a fight against Houston in this Week 11 Inter-conference clash, but Houston gets the home win because of their outstanding defense.

Week 12

Jaguars at Cardinals (-6.5)

The Jaguars have absolutely no shot of pulling off the upset in this Week 12 mismatch.

Week 13

Rams at Cardinals (-8.5)

One, two, buckle your shoe. Arizona completes its season sweep over the Rams by getting the win at home in Week 13.

Week 14

Titans at Cardinals (-3)

The Cardinals should get the narrow home win in this Week 13 matchup against Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans, but for some reason, they won’t!

Week 15

Cardinals at Redskins (-2)

While I’m not exactly expecting Washington to be better than Arizona Cardinals in 2017, I do like the Skins to hold it down at home in a thriller in this late-season NFC matchup.

Week 16

Giants at Cardinals (-2)

Eli Manning and the New York Giants will put up a helluva’ fight in this Week 16 pairing, but Arizona will get the home win by harassing the pass-reliant Giants into a couple of costly turnovers.

Week 17

Cardinals at Seahawks

The Cardinals will be on the wrong end of a regular season-ending loss against Seattle as the Seahawks get their revenge for their Week 10 road loss at Arizona.

While it looks like I’ve got Arizona winning a dozen games in 2017, I believe the more likely scenario is that they win 10 or 11 games at best. Make no mistake about it however, Arizona is a lock to top their win total odds in 2017.
