San Francisco 49ers 2017 NFL Win/Loss Expert Prediction

The San Francisco 49ers may have been limited to a paltry two victories a year ago in Chip Kelly’s final season, but after overhauling their front office, hiring a new head coach and robbing the Chicago bears blind in the NFL Draft, there’s plenty of hope by the bay heading into the 2017 NFL regular season.

If you want to know just how the revamped Niners will make out against their 2017 win total odds, then you’ve come to the right place. Here is my expert analysis and prediction on each and every game on San Francisco’s upcoming 2017 schedule.

In Depth Analysis On The San Francisco 49ers 2017 NFL Win/Loss Expert Prediction

San Francisco 49ers Win Total Odds 4.5

Week 1

Panthers at 49ers (+4.5)

The Niners are playing at home, but they’re also going down against Cam Newton and a Carolina Panthers team looking to rebound in a big way in 2017.

Week 2

49ers (+13) at Seahawks

Frisco has absolutely no chance whatsoever of beating the far superior Seattle Seahawks in their Week 2 NFC West divisional matchup.

Week 3 (Thursday)

Rams at 49ers (-1.5)

While the Rams won four games a year ago to San Francisco’s two, the Niners are the pick to get the home win in their second straight divisional matchup.

Week 4

49ers (+9) at Cardinals

Arizona signal-caller Carson Palmer will easily outplay whoever starts under center for the Niners in this Week 4 affair.

Week 5

49ers (+9) at Colts

The Colts may not be a Super Bowl contender, but they’ll have the best player on the field in quarterback Andrew Luck, not to mention, the Colts are playing at home.

Week 6

49ers (+8) at Redskins

The Redskins will put the Niners away by simply outscoring their NFC counterparts. Skins’ quarterback kirk Cousins looks like the second coming of Johnny Unitas when compared to Frisco’s options at QB.

Week 7

Cowboys at 49ers (+8.5)

If Dallas doesn’t have this game well in hand by the time halftime rolls around, I’ll be stunned.

The Eagles have a blossoming young star in Carson Wentz.

Week 8

49ers (+7.5) at Eagles

Again, in getting back to that ‘quarterback thing’ the Eagles have a blossoming young star in Carson Wentz while the Niners have Brian Hoyer, Christian Ponder and Matt Barkley as their top three options under center. Philly wins with ease for the most part.

Week 9

Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers (+3.5)

Despite being on the road, Arizona completes its regular season sweep of the Niners in Week 9.

Week 10

Giants at 49ers (+4.5)

New York’s powerful defense will shut San Francisco’s offensive attack down while Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. light up their defense.

Week 11

BYE

Week 12

Seahawks at 49ers (+7.5)

Ho hum, another matchup against the Seahawks means another resounding loss against their division rivals.

Week 13

49ers (+4) at Bears

It would only be fitting if the Niners robbed the Bears in the draft, only to lay a huge smackdown on their conference rivals in their Week 13 regular season meeting, which they will.

Week 14

49ers (+9) at Texans

Houston’s defense and what I expect to be an improved offense, will easily get the job done at home in Week 14.

Week 15

Titans at 49ers (+3)

Tennessee’s Marcus Mariota could play quarterback with one arm tied behind his back better than anyone on San Francisco’s roster.

Week 16

Jaguars at 49ers (+1)

While I’m expecting the Jacksonville Jaguars to be better moving forward under the leadership of Tom Coughlin, the Niners will be completely desperate for a win at this point of the season and I believe they’ll get it.

Week 17

49ers at Rams

While I don’t think the Rams will necessarily be better than the Niners this coming season, they are playing at home and will get the win to split their regular season series against the Niners.

The Niners really made some smart offseason transactions, but I’m thinking it will be a little more down the road before they really start seeing dividends for their wise moves. Play the Under 4.5 total wins everyone!
